    1. Wasp induced lucid dream

      by , 08-17-2013 at 03:27 PM
On the day prior to this dream, I'd been on a bus and noticed an angry looking wasp in the window, which is my ultimate terror. Usually you can run away like a bitch hoping the wasp doesn't sting you, but on a 50 minute bus ride you just have to chill and fight the urge to scream like a little girl and hope the wasp doesn't put you on its shit-list.

So after a night of drinking I should have forgotten all about the wasp, but my dream went like this:
I woke up in my bed (like most of my other dreams have started lately) and behold, the area around my bed is full of wasps. Crawling on the walls, on the pillows, on the blankets, on my face, even on my lips. I wanted to die. I had a slight notion that I was dreaming, but I never have control until I perform my reality check, and with a wasp crawling around on my face, I'd rather try to wake myself up. I attempted forcing my real eyes open, which is like a layer outside of my dream eyes - not sure how to explain it, I'm not even sure I understand it.
So I woke up, and again I was in my bed with wasps around me. At this point I was fully convinced the wasps were actually there and it wasn't a dream, but for good measure I decided to perform a quick reality check. Clenched my nose and tried to breathe, and to my surprise, it actually was a dream. I threw my covers off of me and stormed out of the room. I tried to open the skylight window on the hallway, but it was stuck. I gave it a good punch that pushed it open. I crawled out and flew away to explore.
    2. Taking false awakening to a whole new level

      by , 08-13-2013 at 04:58 PM
Lately I've been having a lot of confusing dreams. They usually go like this: The dream starts and I find myself somewhere, often in my bed. Eventually I realize something's off and do a reality check. Seconds after I realize it's a dream, the dream puts me back in my bed and wakes me up - into a new dream. This cycle tends to go on 6 or more times, to the point where when I eventually wake up, I'm confused as hell and it takes me a minute to make sure I'm not still dreaming.
    3. Asian Mail-Order Girlfriend

      by , 03-30-2013 at 01:17 AM
I am in my room, except it is bigger and looks like a luxurious house or apartment with walls and rooms and kitchen and panorama windows and a sunset outside and everything, but still with hints of it being my good old room. In the room with me, there's a tall beautiful Asian girl. My head tells me she's my more-or-less forced mate. We're deep in a conversation and she tells me she was something along the lines of an African princess. As we speak, short glimpses of walking through stinky cattle carcasses lined up behind a small hill with thin trees in a grassy area appear before my eyes. The rest of the conversation is very unclear to me, but I somehow appeared on the chair in front of my computer where I was doing work, when I realized I seemed disinterested in what she had to say. I was unsure what she just said to me, so I replied:
"Oh, so how did that go?" She lit a bit up again with the excitement of me being interested and kept talking.

    4. The Food Festival

      by , 03-28-2013 at 04:21 AM
#1 My mind is flying around some big bridge-pillar-looking construction, arguing with another person through my thoughts. Weird images flash before my eyes, images that don't really make sense when brought outside my head into words, but I somehow relate to the subject both in the dream and when I think back on the dream. The argument was about whether or not the other person's slave employees should be treated well. I told him to treat them well and give them good and varying food every day, for then they would be motivated to work harder. While talking about the food, my mind shifted around in what I can only explain as some kind of red chain-linked carousel. It showed me the slaves eating and enjoying their varying meals for each step in the carousel. It really makes no logical sense and so it is logically unexplainable.

#2 Along with a few of my classmates, I was walking through a narrow little street with all different kinds of shows on our left. Sock-puppet shows, pie-making, a small fenced bin with touchable animals, although they looked a bit odd. In the bin, there was four animals. I do not remember them except for one. A very long eared rabbit, but it looked more like a girl formed like a rabbit. It looked really weird and I can't explain it. In the background behind the rooftops you could see the big construction from the first dream.

#3 I was sitting in a pizzeria along with a few of my classmates. I felt like we just came from the place we had been in my second dream. We were handed a menu card, which was written onto a raw dough circle smeared with flour. The items on the list were complete gibberish, and I assumed they were named to some sort of common understanding. I had no idea what to pick, and as my classmates picked their food and the waitress joked a bit with my indecisiveness, the time pressure only confused me even more. I ended up picking something that sounded like a pizza. "Capriatto."

I had a fourth dream which was centered around food as well, but I can't remember if it was before, between or after the other dreams. Moral of the story: Don't go to bed hungry.

    5. Setting up a date

      by , 03-27-2013 at 01:27 AM
I'm sitting in a bus, looking at my cellphone, which in this dream is an old flippidy-floppedy silver model. The windows are pitch black and the bus is only lit up by the long orange-yellow lamps. The cellphone shows a message I had written to Cecilie a day ago in the dream, which asks her if she would like to go out with me this weekend. I'm about to write something to discard or excuse my message, when someone on the seat on the opposite side of the bus to my left says:
"I would love to go out with you this weekend," and there sits Cecilie in all her blonde glory, almost like she was illuminated by some holy light. Her voice made me feel relieved and ecstatic. She was beautiful, but she looked.. older.
"Where would you like to take me?" she asks and moves onto the seat next to me. The more I looked at her face, the less attractive she was. For each time I looked at her face, it looked more worn and old, yet in very subtle steps. Imagine a meth addict whose skin gradually turns ugly. She ended up looking like a different person, and I'm not sure, but I think her blonde hair got a few shades closer to light brown.
"I'm not sure. Any suggestions?" I reply.
"We'll find out," she ensures. We spend the rest of the dream browsing images on my cellphone.

Side note: I did once ask this if she was doing anything in the following weekend. She was busy but I backed down when she couldn't understand I wanted to ask her out. Looking back at how she had treated me even before I tried to ask her out (and even worse after), although I didn't realize it at the time, I think it was a good idea not to pull through.

    6. Taking an evening run

      by , 03-25-2013 at 05:37 AM
The clock was 2 am when I decided to go outside and take a run into town, which is about 5-6 miles away in real life. It wasn't dark outside like it usually is after 6pm at this time of the year, instead there was a beautiful summer sunset. When I ran up the hill outside our house I felt light as a feather. The road into town had changed; it was full of tall pinetrees and people drove like crazy because they apparently didn't expect anyone at this time of the day (even though the traffic was higher than it usually is on those roads). I quickly got into Ebeltoft, still light as a feather, and arrived at Jernbanegaden, which is a downhill road with shops and houses on each side. It was different though; it was a lot longer and it looked more big-city and middle-eastern at the same time. Every house and entrance was made of stone and stood up to the road, not leaving much view other than the road and the buildings. As I ran down the road, I basically floated. At this time, the sky was light-blue, cloudy, but a glimpse later, it was pitch black and I was standing at a bar with two girls named Mette and Amalie. There was another girl, but I don't remember who that was. They handed me a plate with food, then placed a sausage on it and told me to eat. I said I was thinking of going into the restaurant owned by one of my mother's mothers instead (she was adopted, has a biological and adoptive mother). They agreed to go with me.

    7. Quick fly trip

      by , 09-25-2011 at 09:33 PM
I had a long dream which I do not remember anything from, except that I was standing in my backyard. I looked over the crop field hill, then realized I was dreaming and became lucid. I wanted to get over the hill, so I took off and flew like a professional at a high speed and full control. A small moment after I came over the hill I opened my eyes though.
Kinda interesting actually. As I opened my eyes, I saw the dream disappear with the eyelids, as if it was some movie and you saw the person open their eyelids from their own point of view. I'm not sure if it was a false awakening..

    8. Getting off the bus (again)

      by , 08-20-2011 at 01:06 PM
I stood off my bus like usual, except it was in Holme, which is a bit before I usually get off, so I had to walk the rest of the way. I was wearing headphones around my neck, and a white dax helmet in my arm. I put the helmet on with the shield down, but it was too small - the windshield hurt my nose. I readjusted it a couple times, while walking my way home, and thinking that I forgot my dax at home. I came to the decision of leaving the shield halfway down so my nose was free. I was walking at insane speed, and as I saw the road I needed to walk along to get home, I had to stop myself from walking further. As I was halfway down the road, I remembered that I don't even have a dax. I figured it must be a dream, and did a nose check to be sure. I didn't actually expect it to be a dream, so it came as a small surprise when I could breathe. Before I did the reality check, everything around me was bright in sunshine, and vivid as in real life. After the reality check, it immediately toned gray, and I struggled to focus. I eventually shut my eyes open, and was awake.

Side note: I remember that I saw my iPod all oddly bent as if it was caramel. I don't recall where in the dream I saw it though, - probably while walking - but I remember seeing that in another dream as well.
That's one dream sign for me A deformed iPod.

    9. Why are you not in your bed?

      by , 07-30-2011 at 01:08 PM
      I was fooling around on the asfalt with two guys from my elementary school class, by Strandgårdshøj in Ebeltoft. It was dripping with rain and very foggy. I felt the asfalt. It was cracked like a very strong earthquake had struck. And it was warm. One of the guys - Lasse - turned to me and said;
      - Mikkel, it's 4:00 AM. Why are you not in your right place?
      - Because the asfalt feels nice.
His body language expressed that he was tired of me.

I got woken up at 6AM to go to work, and felt surprisingly fresh, even though I only got 4 hours of sleep that night. I'm glad the REM state introduced itself fast so I could get some rest

    10. The Obstacle Race

      by , 07-17-2011 at 02:23 PM
I was playing CSS on my laptop, except I was on a large field, I could sprint, I had no weapons, it lagged, and a large godzilladinosaurthing was trying to kill me and about 20 others.
Next thing I remember is that I was in some 'international' game. Apparently a massive free-for-all war with small squads. I found a hideout and entered it. On the floor was a pile of golden coins, which I picked up. On the way out, I saw a dead-looking ghost. It was hanging on a spear stuck through it's throat. I left the hideout.
I now found myself in a clearing in the woods. There was a obstacle-racing track and lots of people cheering.
      On the left I saw a cute girl standing on a platform, jumping, cheering, and persuading people into participating in the race. She saw me, and with a just as happy voice said;
"Hey I know you! You're the one who stole our gold. I tell you what. Don't you want to light up that guilty conscience? Just take the track and we'll forget about the whole thing" and pointed to the abstract wooden obstacle-course.
At first I was like "NOPE" but moved against the entrance anyways.
I started running the course, and my one competitor was ready on the track as well. I was in front of him the whole time, while he taunted me by talking to me as if I were a woman. By the end, he somehow managed to slip past me at an inhuman speed, meaning he won the race.
By the exit of the course, I saw Will Smith and his son (named 'Jesus' in my dream), as well as the cute girl whose name I don't know .. The girl said "Don't be so sad. Cmon, let's see how Jesus does". Her spirit, happiness and enthusiasm was really inspiring. I can't really believe she came from my mind, because I am completely different. I should be more like her.
The girl walked back to her platform, as seven-year old Jesus was about to compete against another seven-year old. I walked up to her and we held an arm around each other. She had a nice perfume and a rain-jacket on. We cheered for Jesus who was now running the course. The competing kid banged it's head into an obstacle, and I shouted "RUN JESUS", but the girl said "Be fair". Not much further into the course, Jesus banged his head too, sat down, and started crying as well. The other kid kept running, so Will Smith went onto the track and grabbed him.
Jesus completed the course, and I was now at the exit with him, Will, and the girl. A heavy swarm of those thin wasp-looking bees (flowerbees) that can't actually sting, surrounded the girl. They lifted her up in the air and they all disappeared. Will and I then went on joking about how she was a niggerbee. (No racism intended!)

    11. King of All Lucids

      by , 07-11-2011 at 12:19 PM
      Total estimation: 20-30 minutes

      Non-lucid part:
I was with my family near some green-/insect-house of sorts. Plantation had grown everywhere. We looked at a wall to see this enormous green parasite worm looking thing. We stood and talked about how amazing it was when it started moving out of the wall, digging into the ground and attacking us. It's tail was in the soil, it's head was in the soil, and then it body-slammed and killed my brother.

      Lucid part:
I fled into the insecthouse and that's when I realised - I must be dreaming. I did a reality check and felt I was waking up. Instead I focused my vision hard and saw that I was in a large storage-ish room with a thin metal rail as a fence in front of me and a pillar going down in the middle of the room. I saw a black figure walk past me and disappear as he went out of my field of view to the left. This scared me as it reminded me of that LSD game, and I didn't want this to be a nightmare.
I jumped over the fence and sprinted towards the other end of the room. I jumped headfirst into the wall and now found myself in a room like the first, but the distance to the other end was only 2 meters. I jumped into the next wall and found myself in the same room. Repeat the same room around 4 times more, until I had decided where I wanted to be. I was now in the eye of Saturn. I had remembered the last month's challenge here from DreamViews (didn't remember this month's challenge though).
I found myself in a military base on Saturn. It didn't consist of much but a couple of fences and tents. I saw no people at all. There was no wind either. I figured we were in the eye of the storm. You couldn't hear anything but a constant roar of distant wind. The heaven was black and you could see the stars. The sun was shining brighter but you could look directly at it. The air was very easy to breathe in, nothing different from a normal place on earth.
I wanted to go visit the moon, so I thought of the moon and ran heads-first into a wall. I went straight through it just like the first time, but I was not on the moon. I was at the shore of a big city which reminded me of my hometown Ebeltoft, except it was much larger and futuristic. It was night and the only light you could see came from the moon (close enough)! I looked at the ocean. The water was acting extremely weird, as if it was being sucked out by some beam from the moon. I looked at the moon and tried to do the pull like Bruce the Almighty, as if I had a rope. The invisible rope was tough to pull in, but it didn't affect the moon. I then tried to simply 'teleport' it closer with my mind. It worked! The small moon dissolved and appeared as 4 times that big. I looked back at the ocean. It now consisted of rock-hard shattered crystals.
I walked onto the crystals. The whole ocean was crystals, even beneath the surface, so they didn't move at all. With my mind, I tried removing the crystals, but I regretted that as they turned back into ocean and I fell in the ice-cold water. I levitated (yes! levitated) myself out of the water and turned the ocean back into crystals.

I felt myself waking up, and simply let go as it was probably late anyways. I woke up and the clock was 1 PM.

There were a tonnes of more stuff happening but I simply don't remember it because so many different things were going on.
For example I remember looking at a large clock to see what the clock was. It said 11:48. I don't remember in which association or what part of the dream I looked at it though, all I remember is looking at the clock.
I also remember I wanted to see what happened if I tried to convince a dream character that he doesn't exist. I couldn't find anyone so I spawned one, just to tell him he doesn't exist (lol). He started cursing and swearing at me like mad. "F**K YOU YOU LITTLE F**KING A**HOLE WHAT THE F**K IS THE MATTER WITH YOU SERIOUSLY YOU -insert more swear words here-". He went on like that until I walked away.

During the whole lucid part, I met no people at all except for the black figure and the spawned dream character.

    12. Royal Romance

      by , 07-04-2011 at 07:58 PM
Before I start, I want to say that I live in Denmark and I know nothing at all about the english royal family, nor do I know if they actually have a princess around my age.

So the dream started off with me having an affair with an english princess named Cam or Cami.. something like that. The media knew nothing about it.
Then at a conference or alike, I went to her and kissed her, with press cameras rolling and everything. She kissed me back and the media went wild. All of Britain was amazed and excited about their princess having a boyfriend. You won't believe how amazing it felt, and I really wish it was true. Later on I looked at YouTube and saw all these stupid montages that lonely 14 year old crazy, british girls make about Cami and me.

When I woke up I felt sad because nothing that great has ever happened in my life.
    13. Corpse in the woods

      by , 07-02-2011 at 09:04 PM
I dreamt about waking up at 11:45 (and had to be at my work at 12:00) so I panicced around, trying to make someone take my shift, but couldn't. I couldn't get on the bus in time either.
Today I actually had to go to work at 12:00, but I woke up in time luckily :-)

Then later i dreamt about finding a maggot infested body in the woods. Not sure if it's a part of the other dream.
More detailed; I walked on a trampled path in a field of tall grass, showing a person where the body was. We moved some planks with nettles, and found a supposed old, rotten and dead woman with a coat on and a massive bulge on her back. Maggots, flies and leeches were crawling all over her. The person I showed her to, lifted her up and walked away with her.

Side notes: It seems that lately, I've been dreaming about stuff that could happen/go wrong the next day if I've been nervous about it.
Another example is that the day before my oral english exam, I dreamt that I went through alot of awkward trouble and turned up 15 minutes late for it. Very related to this. I should start doing reality checks every time something goes wrong (I'm clumsy).
    14. Stopping time and mind control!

      by , 06-26-2011 at 12:28 PM
I do not remember many of the details of this dream, but here goes:

Gotta get down to the busstop, I see my friend! (A DC that I don't know who is. This is probably how Rebecca Black got the idea for Friday!)
My friend was using a nose-clenching trick to stop time. I tried to do the same, and it worked. There was this guy at the busstop but I don't remember what he did wrong. We got in a fight and I stopped time to fight him. The funny part about this dream is that I actually felt the hurt in my chest after holding my breath for too long. And I couldn't breathe with my nose pinched.
I also had this insanity trick. I could stare someone in the eye in a freaky way, and their facial expression would be as if their mind turned blank. I could then leave them to do mindless stuff, or control their minds! I made the tough guy hurt himself while I went to grab a paddle and beat him. I ended the insanity by making a 'meow' sound.
There were still people trying to beat my friend, but we walked down the sidewalk and I suggested that we should "rob a bank and take a flight to..". I had New York in mind but tried to find a better example. My friend - the DC then completed my sentence with "New York!" and I agreed.

Then as we broke through a window, into a bank, I realised it was a dream.
I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I concentrated hard on deciding something. Then this hot chick showed up and tried to attack my friend. Suddenly I knew what I wanted to do.
I did the insanity trick on her and made her bend over. Then I had some fun..
until I felt myself in my awake body. I tried to hold on to the dream for as long as possible, but my mind slipped into wake-state.

    15. English Exam

      by , 06-14-2011 at 05:29 PM
Side note 1: This was the night before my english exam earlier today.
Side note 2: When I went to bed I tried using a FILD technique which didn't exactly work.
Side note 3: This dream was very vivid.

Tonight I dreamt that I arrived at my school 5 minutes before the exam started. But then I was on a bus. I got a call from my teacher reminding me that my exam was starting, so I was like "oh fuck oh shit", stood off the bus, and told my teacher that I was "taking a shit, it might take a while". I looked at my phone which said the clock was 10:35. I then looked at a bus plan to see that the next bus driving back to where my school is, would arrive at 10:35. Then I saw my parallel-class' teacher and a sensor. They asked "what are you doing here" but didn't wait for an answer. I drove with them back to my school, which the dream skipped.
When I arrived at my school, I had somehow lost my t-shirt. I really didn't mind, but apparantly people on the hallway found it amusing and laughed at me. I arrived at the exam 15 minutes late.
