    Here be dragons

When I have good dream control and good lucidity, I will put the dream in green.
It's maybe early to put this up, but I tend to have disturbing and/or violent dreams and I'm a very visual person, which could mean detailed description of unsavory stuff. I will probably put warning at the beginning of dreams containing those, and keep the more graphic description to my private DJ.

My usual dreams partner in crimes are Eli, my tulpa, David, a persistent DC and Michael and Donald, two of my novel characters.
Eli is usually very tall and dark haired, with a long face, thick eyebrows and bright, skyblue eyes. David is only slighty taller than me, with boyish features and ginger hair. Michael is 6ft2, with blond and curly hair and light blue-green eyes. Donald is a red pembroke corgi. If my dream follow the same pattern as before, they will pop up on their own often, so I will keep basic description here to declutter my dreams entries.

    1. Dead like me

by , 01-13-2016 at 10:45 PM (Here be dragons)
take a seat people, this one is a long one.

I boards a train on a contry station. The day is hazy and hot, the tall grass dried out and whispering in the hot wind. The train I'm in go off the rails, but I find myself tranding up in the ruins of the accident, seemingly inscathed, chairs and pieces of glimmering machinery all around me in a clearing. I still need to go, and I find mylsef in another train, this one going over a brige high on a montain side. This one go off the rails too, and I'm falling down, all the way to the ground. I hear the thump of my body, and something snaps.
I scramble back on my ass, then I stand up. Somehow I know that i'm not living anymore, that I'm a ghost, haunting my own body. It doesn't seem broken or even hurt. Two other girls are picking themselves from the ground. I know they are like me, dead but walking. We meet up on the side of the wreackage and decide that we have nothing better to do but walk.
We walk for a long time, following the train tracks, until we reach the outskirts of a city. One of my companion seem to know her way around, and she brings us to a big villa with a party going on. We walk in from the garden to a back door. A Yound, blond haired girl opens the door, beckoning us in. There's a lot of people, kids barely in their teens huddled together, sixteen years old longing around, and twenty something drinking and laughing. THe blonde girl introduces us to her older borther, one of a twenty-something; he's a fiery red-head, with a handsome, somehow cat-like face. He seems very interested in me, but he gives off such a creeper vibe that I decide to purposely fuck with him by flirting with girls. I whisper to one of the girls from the train:
"I bet I can kiss three girls before the end of the day."
"But how about the guy?" she askes.
      "Exactly."
      We giggle after that.
The day after, the party is fnished and the house weirdly empty. It's a beautiful place, with white walls and tilted floors, the furniture mostly made of light wood, with dark blue and white fabric. I slowy understand that the party was an haunting, and the previous owners of the place are dead, and I'm squatting. There's a lot of food in the kitchen, breads and cheeses and all sort of vegetables in the frige. There's also a cot in here, with a cream wool blanket on the thin mattress.
I spend some days here, and one day I overslept and wake up in the darkness. I flip the switch to open the electrical blinds and look the time on my phone; it's almost 3 p.m. but I need to plung it to see clearly the screen, the battery was almost flat.
I wander in the garden in my pajama, a fade pink shirt going down to my thighs, feeling feverish. On a cornor of the garden, overlooking the street below is a giant tree, gnarled and old. It looks like a japanese pin tree, with big aerial roots. It's covered in dark green moss, with lighter sprouts on the side touched by the sun, doted with small flowers in orange, pink and light yellow.
As I'm walking toward it, two girls I recognize from the school I'm attending see me from the street and ask me where I am been. I make up a lie that I was sick with the flu, my dew soaked pajama clinging to me like I'm sweatslick. They sympathize, and ask to use my bathroom. I pretend that it's dirty to make them leave, bu the older one insist and I guide them inside. I pretend to clean up the bathroom before letting the younger one in, going in the kitchen with the other. I start to nervously tidy up the food, putting most of it in the frige and throwing moldy things away. The girl looks at me intendingly and asks me : "Do you sit on the bed, or through the bed?" I look quickly to the still locked bathroom door, and nervously tell her that we should speak about it later. She agrees and the younger girl get out, and they leave. The older girl tells me her friend needs help, and she will come back later.
I start to bolt all the doors but another school college walks to it with a friend of her and tries to force her way in; I lock the door on her and talk to her through a window cut in the wood of the door. She aggressifly asks me about a Sarcomis thyphus and I rattle off the definition of it; it's a bacteria that induce sarcoma. He friend snorts and starts to say that it's actually a part of the immun system. I scream at her that it's in the fucking name that it induces sarcoma and it's a bacteria and slam the window covering in their faces, bolting it. I back up a little corridor and lock another door, this one painted light blue.
    2. RIP

I woke up to the new of David Bowie's death. He said goodbye so often I can't believe it's real this time. He shaped a large part of my teenage years and I started to embrace weirdness, scary monsters and supercreeps thanks to him.
I kind of forgot my dream after that.
    3. Hero complex.

by , 01-10-2016 at 08:45 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm in a city, it's as usual made of long houses interlocked with eachothers and very steep. I need to protect a small group of children from a man. I try to have them to run and get away, but they are too scared of stubborn to listen to me and I have to fight the man head on. I shapeshift into something quatripedal, with fangs and claws, attacking this man to keep him from snatching the kids. They run from me and I chase them into a house big enough to be a manor and scramble up some wooden stairs, shifting back and huddling in a corner between two dark rooms. I can see that one of them is a bedroom, with the single bed close enought to the half open door that I can see under it. I'm trembling all over, feeling both vindicated and hurt by the children's fear. My sister and a yound man find me here, and crouch to be on eye level with me, talking soothing nonsense.
The man take a halfstep to the left and a very strange insect crawls from behind him. It's a light, soft green color, and looks like a centiped the size of a small dog. On its head is a mass of feelers looking like ribbons or feathers, gently moving like algae in water. I'm both repulsed and fascinated by it, and I huddle a little closer to the wall when it advances. It stops before I get too inconfortable, and something grows out of it's back; it's butterfly wings, the same soft green color with a big eye-like spot and a long tail. It looks like a luna butterfly, and it's pretty, in a weird way.
    4. Subtext is for losers today

by , 01-09-2016 at 08:46 PM (Here be dragons)
Spent the night dreaming about honey, lemon juice and tea.
Woke up with a sore throat and midly dehydrated. Oh well.
    5. Your arms are the only place I call home.

by , 01-06-2016 at 04:42 PM (Here be dragons)
      Low lucidity dream.

I'm on my bed, in the dark, feeling heavy and relaxed. I start to get a rocking sensation, left to right, and I push my dream body out. I fall off the bed and use it to get back up and find the window. I get out and walk a little alog the wall into my vision come in and I can the the front garden, sunny and quiet. There is no sound but the wind, but I still feel uterly at ease, relaxed and almost floaty. I exent my hand out of my field of vision and catch the hand of Eli, pulling him to me. He's wearing a faded white sleveless Tshirt that show all the freckles on his shoulders and arms, a dark jeans and leather boots. I snuggle against him and he smiles before asking me "What about your silvery man?" and of course my answer is "You first." I start to run out the garden, pulling him with me.
I lost lucidity pretty much right after that, but according to Eli we didn't leave the road in front of my house and the dream didn't go one a lot.

    6. All you need is love!

by , 01-05-2016 at 09:13 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm not sure about the chronological order of this dream.

It's a post-apocalyptic setting again, but this time the apocalypse happened very recently; we still don't know how bad it is, and what exactly has changed. I'm walking through a facility set in a warehouse with a man in a lab coat; there's a lot of people running around with files and tablets, making impromptu meeting and talking. It's badly lit, and I feel like I'm underground, even thought I can see a boat on the otherside of the warehouse, ad the light boncing of the waves painting pattern on the ceiling. I overhear a man talking about going to live at sea, on oil-extracting platform. I point out to the man walking with me that thoses platform are limited in space and food, so that's not a viable move. He leads me to a computer and we can see the number of people killed, separated in profession in a kind of spreadsheet. He points the physicians to me, telling that one in forty got killed. The number of killed physicians is two hundreds, and the cell color is orange.
I'm outside now, with a middle aged woman, in an alley between two buildings. It's a very sunny day, the shadows on the orange walls are razor sharp, an the metallic mesh closing one end of the alley is glittering. There's also a grey plastic table against the wall to my left, with a box on it. A man with sunglasses pick something up in the box and put it in his mouth. I sprint to him and kiss him, stealing the thing in the process. It's slightly sweet and chewy, like gum. Now that I'm close I recognize David, and he take another gum; it's small, white and tubular shaped, like a rubber from the end of a mechanical pencil.
We're back inside the warehouse, with the man and David, and we learn that we have to ask for help to some people. I know that they aren't normal human, and I pick a photograph of one of them, telling the crowd that I know him, that I call him Raphael. One of the people ask him how much I know him, and I answer that he likes me in white. We decide that me and David will go looking for him.
We're on a road, in a middle of a forest; I check a map, it seem that we are in Europe, somewhere between Germany and Russia. The sun is high in the sky, but the air is pretty chilly. David got a jeans, hicking boots and a warm coat, but I'm in a white, flowy dress. It cover my arms and go down to the floor, but it's made of a light material, in lots of layers. We've been walking for a long time and I complain that we're running out of road. We finally reach a big building, well integrated into the forest, with big glass walls and dark woods. The door has a steel inlay, and I walk in with David. Inside the floor is carpeted, the wall painted white and with the same dark wood panneling. It has the slightly cushy warm of central heat. I go to the admission desk, letting David sit in one of the armchair overlooking the road. The receptionnist is a small, blond-haired woman with a tight ponytail that brush her neck. She listens to me and talks into her headset before gesturing me to go to the armchair. I give her a smile and turn around, but before I can move Raphael enter the room.
He's a towering, willowy man, crowned with golden curls. He's wearing a long-sleeved light blue t-shirt over a jean and his fingers are stained with paint. He notices me and pulls me off the floor into a bearhug, and I get a good look of his freckled, charming face and light green eyes.
Later, I'm walking into the nearby city with David, the warm of the sun nicely contrasting with the chillness of the air. We're on a very pretty, pedestrian street made of sandstone. David makes me laugh, and I can see from the corner of my eye Raphael, walking with a small group of friends ahead of us turning around and looking for me. David whispers to me that Raphael agree to help because he's infatued with me. I laugh at the idea, but Raphael big smile when he hears my laugh seem telling.

    7. Down the rabbit hole

by , 01-03-2016 at 04:32 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm with a golden haired man with short, slicked back hair. He pulls me in a car and I have to drive it through a underground parking lot. It's decrepit, the cement is stained and pitted, with the metal bar embedded in it sticking out like bones from a carcass with rust leaking out. Part of it is falling appart, blocking some roads. I try to find my way in it, my compagnon not very helpful. He does give me some direction, and we reach a back-end. I turn the car around, telling the man I won't let him get us into trouble if we need a quick guetaway.

I find myself in a house with my family, namely my mother, her brother with his dog, and my sister. They were out to the beach and everyone is tired, my mother sleeping on the couch in her still wet clothes with a blanket over her. I notice a piece of paper poking out of her pocket and take it without waking her up. There's in fact two papers: on of them is too wet and desintegrate into a pulp, bu the other is still mostly whole. I read part of it; it's a very heartfelt letter from my father, written just before or after my sister's birth. It's written on a prescription paper, with the heading of the hospital he worked in when I was very young. It's typical of him, and rather sweet. I carefully lay it flat on the table to dry, feeling lot of love for both my parents.

Finally, I wander outside that room to a living room with french windows opening into a stone terrace with iron-forged garden furnitures. There's a crew of cameramen here, filming what seems to be a business lunch. There's a dozen of people in suit, both men and women, eating an expensive salad in the sun. I'm lurking inside, not wanting to be filmed. I look around the room, there's a desk with a handful of pens and some letters, but I don't pay close attention to it. There's also a big cardboad box. I take off the lid and there's a big, pitch black rabbit in it, on a bed of hay. I pick it up and hold it close to me, it's as big as a cat and very fluffy, with a downy belly. I'm careful to keep it's legs tighly hold so it can't kick, but it's a very chill rabbit and it let's itself being carried around like a big furry baby. I walk to the other side of the room and find a stone wheel going down. There's growling coming from it, deep below. I call in it and something come up; it's sewage, dark and sluggish, with a white mouse swimming in it. I take it out of the sewage, but I didn't caught it properly and it twists out of my hand and fall to the floor before running away. I'm not very sad about it, since it was dripping wet and dirty. I gently put the rabbit down and pat it's head before opening the door for it. It hops out and I go back to lurking next to the windows. One of the people eating, and handsome man with olive skin and strong, patrician features, looks up and away from the lunch and right to me. He seems to recognizes me and his cold, calculated smile turn into an incredibly warm, sweet one. He politly but quickly excuses himself from the table and gets inside. He's tall and broad-shouldered, with cropped, very curly dark hair. I reach up to his face, and he catches my hand, interlocking his fingers with mine. His hands are as big as the rest of him, making me feel small. He smiles and cups my face with his other hand, it feels very warm and slightly rough, probably from calluses. I smile and coyly look away.
    8. Carnivorous

DOn't remember must, except that I had to feed wolves with really dubious meat. That carcass looked very... humanoid.
    9. White bird flies

by , 12-29-2015 at 07:14 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm with my mother and sister, we're travelling and looking for a bird, a white phenix. My sister thinks it's a small thing, but I'm convinced it's bigger, like a swan. My mother gives me reason, and we see a crude drawing of it: it has a curved, yellow beak, long head feathers and golden trails in it's tail. We're walking around in a town with houses connecting to each others, some of them with public pathways going in the middle of them. I'm separated from my family and keep looking for the bird. I cross path with Michael, my novel character; he's dressed in a traveler garb, holding a backpack. We chat a little, a very tall, brown haired man joining us brefly, but I feel compelled to go, and Michael isn't the kind to linger anywhere. He gives me a sweet smile and goes on his way, into a forest at the end of the town. I wander into a older part of the place, the light is fading and the building are very dirty and mouldy, leaning over the street. I reach the end of the path; through a long, narrow window I can see a bright orange sun setting over the forest, miles and miles below me. It's breathtaking, and before thinking about it I flight myself off the path and into the void, but instead of falling I soar up on bright white wings.
    10. Witchery

by , 12-28-2015 at 11:44 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm in a school. The walls are made of old stones with long, narrow windows; it's surrounded with pine trees, and it feels like it was a monastery before being converted to a school. I wander a little in it, going up some stairs and getting highter and highter. I reach a balcony overlooking the forest. Under it I can see the path going up to the school, running alongside a small stream separating it from the pine forest. On this balcony is a old woman. She walks in my face and start talking gibberish, cornering me to the edge of the balcony. I jump, extending my arms, and when I'm over the stream and almost on the floor my body change and I can flap my wings to land safely. In the water reflexion I can see that I was a bird of prey, a kind of hawk with the coloring of a snowy owl. I look up to the pines; they seems to go on forever in the sky, touching the grey clouds.
    11. carousel horse

by , 12-27-2015 at 09:29 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm in the dark, feeling both my real body and my dream body. I roll over and push myself out. For some strange reason I can't move forward and I have to go through my window by walking backward. Once I'm outside, I can move normally. I'm still in the dark, still feeling my closed eyelids, but I keep walking until I start seeing and stop feeling my eyelids. It's sunny but a little chilly; I'm in front of the house, but the car parked here is different that usual and take up most of the allyway, making it difficult for me to leave the garden. My lucidity is very low, and my head feels muddy. Over the top of the car I can see my neighbour's garden, there is a couple of blck horses eating grass next to the house, long tails swishing in the bright light. There is a white and pink mesh on the letterbox, and I start thinking about using it to climb oven the fence and get out when a very tall man walks on the road in from of the house. I recognize Eli and call him. He smiles and picks me up. I wrap my arms and legs around him like a monkey and give him a quick kiss, making him laugh. I crane my neck to see the horses and Eli walks into the neighbour garden. By the time we reach the horses, they have disappear, and there's nothing more that a couple of discared woods on the floor. I grumble and we look for the horses again, my low lucidity plummeting. I get off Eli arms and walk barefooted on the damp grass, single minded in my goal of riding a horse. I find a crudely shaped, wooden toy of one, and put in on the floor, willing it to grow. I hop on his back when it start to inflate, but it stay all crooked and strangely shaped ans I wake up.

    12. Ghost of winter past and Dream Ink

by , 12-18-2015 at 06:03 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm at tha old university, there seem to be a problem with my diploma and the administration is as helping as usual. I get fed up and frustrated and walk out to get a breather. Here I met with a young man*, talking with me about my training period under his wing and being pretty clueless and hurtful. I get even more upset and get away from him, goign to the hospital collaborating with the university. I get down to the basement, which has turned into a sort of warehouse full of glimmering machinery. Operating one of those is the man I worked with, tinkering with it while someone watch. I notice a woman and a toddler off to the side, and while I can't see their face I know that they are his wife and son. I'm happy to see them well and happy; the boy is playing and squealing when his mother give him ice chips to eat. She propose me one and her husband mock-scold her about it; I say that I'll never pass the occasion to eat a book, and she hands me some "dictionnary ice". It doesn't have any particular taste, but I thank her. The man and me talk a little, sharing news. He seem pretty upset that I left the university and the project we worked on, and I try to tell him how hard it was for me, but I make myself upset and can't say the words. He seem to understand and stops me. Before I leave he looks like he's going to hug me, but both of us are too shy and akward for it.

*my superior was a young woman, but she had a lot of students to work with so I was left to my own devices a lot.

I woke up pretty early and decided to go for a WBTB.

I'm slightly lucid, enough that I want to track down the forceful man. The sky is overcast again, the colors both muted and intense. I find myself in a busy crowd, walking on a path in a park. It got a nice landscaping, with stones paths like the one I'm walking on, with nice half buried archways providing shadows in the summer, ponds and old trees, but the paths are riddled with potholes, and this one is caked with feces and sick. It's disgusting and people around me are obvious to it, except a woman who is desesperatly trying not to step in it. I follow her steps and we end up in a store, as crowded as the park, but at least it's clean. I caught a glimpse of a blond-haired man dark clothing, his hair silvery in the artificial light, but he disappear before I can reach him. I fall back to the woman I was with, she's arguing with a vendor about something. Finally she get her bag and smile to me, so we get out together. I ask her about the man I'm looking for, and she seem pretty disaprouving. She tells me he live on the upper hills, in a castle or a manor. I ask her to guide me, and that's the last lucid thing I do, but she say I can't go now. She takes me back to the park, in a nook that's cleaner that the rest, with a old bathtub with clawed feets. The bathtub is full of soapy water, and I strip off to get in and wash off the filth from earlier. The air os cold but the water warm, so I only let my head out of it. The woman unbraids my hair and wash it, before pulling out of her bag a big comb made of black, shining wood with a ivory and onyx handle, curved like a vine and orned with a flower. She starts to comb my hair, taking strands of it out the tub to do so then putting it back in. It float around me, filling half of the tub and covering me like algae.
She then tells me I need some markings to do what I have in mind. She asks me to sit up and I do, shivering in the cold air. She put something cold and hard against my back, between the shoulderblades, telling me it's for speed and flight, and then show me the metallic plate she used: on it is a creature that at first glance looks like a eastern dragon, a snake body with a horned horse head and insect-like wings. It's six limbs are strangely human, and it's warped on itself in a mess of wings and coils. I barely have to see it before she puts my legs out of the water, my head going under and my exposed skin erupting in goose-bumps. I push my head out, spultering, as she pushes two similar plates against my inner thighs, close to my panties. She tells me I'm wearing Lilith's hands* now, and when she takes out the plates I can see that I've got two very intricate design of hands tatooed on my skin in back ink, left hand on right thigh, right hand on left thigh. It's slightly innerving; it looks like the right hand has a eye embedded in it, and as if someone is pushing my legs appart.

*Lilith is supposed to be the mother of monsters, and I birthed a snake in a previous dream. I don't know if it's linked, but it's there.

    13. Huntress of the apocalypse

by , 12-17-2015 at 07:53 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm in an abandonned hospital, it's brightly light by the sun through broken windows, with dust pilled up in the corners and medical furnitures abandonned around. There was some kind of catastrophy, something that turned the majority of humanity into flesh-eating monsters. I'm trying ton round-up survivors. I walk the allyways, following sounds, and find two teenagers girls huddled in a room, crying. I don't have time to confort them and pull them on their feet to get out of the place. I hear crying again, and right outside the door is another girl in a white nighty with her dark hair loose around her face, holding her own arm and swaying on her feet. The arm she's holding is deadly white, with the veins showing up in dark purples and sickly green. She's infected, turning. I slam the door in her face and scream to the girls to come and help me keep the door closed, but they're too scared and stay rooted in place. The other girl is banging on the door, the whole thing rattling on it's frame and hurting my shoulder. The frame start splittering, but before she manages to destroy it I hear her scream and then it's silence. I slowly open the door and there's giant dogs on the other sides, waiting. I pat a head here and scratch a ear there, the pack rounding the girls up and we get out. We're out on the streets, and our little group is joined by the other survivors, keeping close for protection. I'm the pack leader, the huntress.
We're looking for a house to live in. The street is going up, and the houses on each side are painted white with dark blue tilted roof. Both have a tower, and the one on the right have a big wooden gate, the bottom of it quite weathered and rotting. A couple of survivors and me crawl under that gate and find ourselves in front of an other gate, in fare more better shape. The more slender of us manage to crowl under this one too, and I tell her to open it. The dogs sniffle and whine behind the gate, and as soon as they are in the house they scatter to scout it. We take everyone in and close the gates.
I follow the sound of my pack and find them ripping appart an infected; it's a quick affair, and they are careful not to splatter everything. I get the survivor to the upper levels of the house. It's a big duplex rooms, with beds scattered around, and drapes for some makeshift privacity. I'm given a corner place, with two beds, one to sleep, one to "work as a desk". I thanks the woman giving me my place and go back to the pack. I notice that some of the dog are in fact wild boars, but there are as easygoing as the others. I pet them and go back up. There are clothes on my bed, a dress of beige taffeta and black tulles, with a poffy skirt, alongside a pair of sheer, black tights and a pair of being, shimmering thight high. I change, putting the thight hight over the tights. It's warm and comfy, and the dress dances when I move. I'm walking away when a old, petite woman with black hair and a heavily lined face give me high heels made of a transparent material, decorated with small, shining black pearls and porcelains beige flowers. I slip them on... And wake up.
    14. Treasure at the bottom of the pool

by , 12-15-2015 at 07:01 PM (Here be dragons)
I'm at a long, one story house with a terrace and a low roof. The sun is hot and the light has orange undertones; the garden is dusty and the trees and bushes are darkened and leaveless. I'm here to baby-sit three kids: a girl in here late teen, a boy slightly yonger and a girl barely out of toddlerhood. All three are dark-haired and rather cheeky. I take them to the pool behind the house to cool everyone off. The father, an whale of a man with a walrus moustache, makes a rude comment about the contents of my bathing suit and I dive into the pool. The water is warm and murky, the bottom of it full of slurge. My hair obscures my vision and when I wave them out I see that a whole wooden boat is embedded in the thick slurge of the bottom of the pool. I resurface and swim to the side to get out of the water. It runs down my body, making dark puddles on the stone terrace. I tells the family about the boat and the father is very excited about it, making it sound like there is a treasure in there somewhere. I have to keep the children from trying to explore it, and I'm annoyed with the rude father not thinking about their safety and oogling me.
    15. Could we say... love brings lucidity? Kinda?

Woke up after last dream at 7 am, went back to sleep.

I'm in the family house with my mother and sister, there's lot of stuff to do to fix it up. the garden is a mess, and the inside isn't in better shape; there's rumble everywhere and the place is basicaly gutted. However, it's full of light, and all the the french windows are open, letting summer heat come in with the light. I open the front door, and there's a group of people in working clothes, her to help fix the house. One of them is vaguely familiar, but the other are a faceless crown men and women alike. I let them in to the living room, where my mother and sister are waiting. We start giving out taskes and I ended up in the garden with the familiar man. We're moving the outside furniture, sofa and armchairs of forged iron, alongside table and chair mae of the same material. The sofa and armchairs are only frames and relatively light, and the chairs are easy. Then it's the table, and it's the heaviest piece. We westle it to the back of the house, close to the empty pool. On this side of the pools the only windows are those of the bedrooms, and nobody is there for now. The man mopes his brow as I strip off my jacket and drop it on the table. We're resting a little before going back to work.

Spoiler for There was a reason he was familiar...:

Suprisingly, I don't wake up; I become lucid instead. I slip off the table and decide to get out of the garden and into the street to clear my head a little. I open the portal and step out. I end up in the street in front of my actual house, and from the corner of my eyes I can see that I'm in front of it. Rather that getting in I turn to the left, to the end of the street. The house next to mine is completly different; now it's a two stories house in white plaster and black logs, with a cute balcony full of bright flowers. The day is ending, and the tiny front garden is full of lights along the gravelled path to the front door. I go in, singing Eli name. He open the door as I reach it and pick me up into a hug. I wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face against him. The house is full of golden light and fairy lights suspended off the ceiling, and the living room ceiling is all the way up to the roof.
