    1. lucid dream

by , 02-03-2012 at 06:35 PM (Dream Journal)
had an unexpected lucid dream with about 2 mg of melatonin + B6 at bed time. it started out in a regular dream where i was in a school walking with someone looking for someone else. i was going up a flight of stairs when i heard the cue from my phone to do a reality check. i am not sure if my actual phone in waking life created this noise, which then transferred into the dream world, but when i woke up it was 15 minutes past the hour. in the dream i thought, this would be a great situation to check my reality in as the scenario is somewhat different. it was not until i did the check that i realized i was dreaming.

The scenary changed and I am back at home, or a version of my home. I am kind of wandering around again at this point but I open a door and go out to a back yard. It was sunny outside and the sprinkler was on. I move the sprinkler away and the grass started to flood. I step into this flooding grass with my bare feet. I actually feel like this decision was not made by me, but I was completely lucid at this point.

I look at water droplets that are in the air from the sprinker and try to suspend and move them with my fingers. It worked. They turned into solid crystals/diamonds and I was able to move them.

I remember something that I wanted to do, but when I try to steer the direction of the dream in the way that I want (changing the setting), I lost a lot of clarity. It felt like I was just imagining it or day dreaming about it in my head, rather than actually being there and doing it. I ended up back in my bedroom, and I actually focus on waking myself up.

The last thing I remember was me sitting on my bed, looking at my own reflection in the TV that I used to have in my room. I think to myself: this is my dream, I can't have a better physique than that?

This lucid dream was not nearly as vivid as the one I had before this (on galantamind). But without a doubt, I was lucid and had some control. I also feel like this proves that my hourly cue to RC actually works. I remember after waking up, I looked at the clock and it was 15 minutes past the hour. The dream felt like it was around 10 minutes, so I do think that hearing the cue while I was dreaming caused me to RC in the dream.

    2. High Level Lucidity

by , 01-24-2012 at 07:49 AM (Dream Journal)
This is by far the highest level Lucid Dream I've had to date. It came with the help of some supplements (100mg of 5-htp before bed, and 8mg of Galantamind 5 hours later). I cannot say for sure what kind of LD this is categorized as. It kind of feels like a WILD because it started off in my bedroom, and I was aware that I was dreaming since the very begining beginning. Although I did not feel like I held a constant stream of consciousness into the dream. To me it is a combination of WILD, MILD, and DILD... but who cares, I had a Lucid Dream!
It all happened in my bedroom. I was standing there in the dark and I knew that I was dreaming. I perform several reality checks throughout the dream to reaffirm that I am indeed dreaming. My primary RC is the nose plug, and that always works. a little later on in the dream I perform the finger through palm RC for the first time and that worked as well. I remember attempting to look at my hands but I was kind of scared of seeing something disfigured that I stopped looking.

Back to the dream, I spent a good amount of time wandering around in my bedroom in the dark. I used my hands to feel the details on the walls, and I even came upon a light switch. I did not flick it because this switch controls the electricity to my computer, and I did not want to turn everything off. I remember that I had a hard time seeing. Maybe it was because it was dark, but it felt like my eyes were closed in the dream. Again I had the sensation that if I tried to open my eyes too much, I was in danger of doing so in my physical body.

My monitor was on and it seemed like that was the source of light within my bedroom. After wandering around, I make my way out into the balcony. It is raining and I notice that the whole construction area below me is flooded. Here is where I try to fly into the air. I jump off the ground, but land right back. I do this a couple of times, and one time I even hand flat on my back. This reality check did not work for me this time.

I look into the flooded construction area and even think about jumping off my balcony into it, but a sense of fear prevented me from doing so. I try to move objects in the construction area with my mind, but had no success.

I climb up to the 3rd story and into other people's balcony. I peep through their windows and it appeared that every did not have a bed, and was sleeping on the floor. One of the neighbors looked back at me.

I come back down to my balcony and there appeared two girls. One or both, proceeded to suck my mushroom tip. I took one of them back inside and laid her on my bed. We kiss passionately and I start to go muff diving. Very shortly after, I open my eyes and the dream was over.

    3. In Korea

by , 12-14-2011 at 03:26 PM (Dream Journal)
I am in Korea with a friend (unidentifiable), and we are in a bar/restaurant/bowling alley. A pretty korean girl from another group comes to hang out with us. There is a language barrier, so my friend acts as a translator. We are communicating and getting along well. I try to say something to her in Korean. I have a strong attraction to this girl.

The restaurant closes at around 1am. I try to offer her girl a ride home, but she declines and goes with her friends. We then go to another area where it is a shopping mall, it is now daytime. While still in the car, I notice that this girl is in this area with her friends doing some shopping. I tell my friend to park the car so we can follow her. This is when I realize that I am in a dream. I do the nose plug reality check and confirm. I thought to myself, and even told my friend, I am not going to get overly excited. My friend tries to park the car in an empty parking lot (looked like a parking lot of an asian super market) but continuously fails, he keeps going out of the lines and then keeps whirling around in circles. I felt like it was slowing me down and I had to go meet this girl. So I tell him to stop the car and I get out. I go to look for her. I go into a department store like Sak's and go on the escalator. after going up and down several floors on the escalator my dream ends.

    4. Lucid but blind

      DILD after WBTB
I was inside of a fancy building, it looks like a university or a shopping mall. There is a big room with see through walls, and I see a huge classroom, but instead of seats, there were cardio machines with people on them. I notice some empty machines and thought about joining in. This room was very big and had multiple levels. In the very front was a female instructor. I am on the outside looking in through the glass walls.

Outside of this classroom, I am standing and talking with someone. This person is coaching me on how to lucid dream. I am standing in a meditative state (eyes closed) and attempting a WILD while this person is coaching me. He was telling me things about WILD that I already knew.

I suspect that I may be in a dream, or a dream within a dream. Anyway, I try to perform the nose plug reality check. This time it wasn't so easy to control what I was doing. I could not see my hands, and I was very careful not to wake myself up. Somehow I am able to plug my nose, and confirm that I was dreaming. At this point, the dream started to become vivid. However, It appears that I have my eyes closed as I cannot see anything other than a bright yellow/orange light. I attempt to open my eyes in my dream, again being very careful not to wake myself up. Unfortunately this resulted in me opening my eyes in real life, thus ending the lucid dream.

    5. False Lucidity?

by , 11-30-2011 at 11:05 PM (Dream Journal)
I am not entirely sure if I became lucid in this dream. But even if it wasn't, I feel like this was a huge step forward because I can identify something that caused me to suspect I was dreaming. The first time I had a lucid dream, I could not identify the trigger.

After becoming lucid (or not) the dream did not feel that real, it felt like I was laying down daydreaming with my eyes closed, rather than in a full blown REM period.

looking back to it, I think this may just be a regular dream where I dreamed about being lucid. It was nothing like the first time I became lucid.
I was in Tony's garage and I needed to move my car out. There was another car parked directly behind me (his mom's?), but there was just barely enough room for me to carefully reverse out. As I began to reverse, my feet felt extremely heavy and I could not control the braking and the gas, so the car just slowly reversed without my control. I should have already hit the car behind me, but my car just continued to slowly reverse.

At this point I realized I was dreaming. I became extremely excited and my heart was pounding, but still remembered to do a reality check. Still I had very little control of my body, and the reality checks I did was extremely vague. I plugged my nose and tried to breathe, but I don't actually remember what the result was. Also, this dream did not seem to change in vividness after becoming lucid. It ended rather quickly after this without me being able to do anything else.

    6. First Time Lucid

by , 11-24-2011 at 01:41 AM (Dream Journal)
This was my first (and only thus far) lucid dream experience. It came shortly after I learned about lucid dreaming, and at a time when I was most interested and excited about it.
I was walking across a college campus past some girl sitting at one of those desks w/ a draped banner advertising a club.

I suddenly end up in my bathroom, and standing inside the shower facing the shower head.

Something triggers me to question if I am dreaming. I perform a reality check by holding my nose and trying to breathe. I conclude that I am dreaming and my vision suddenly turns from fuzzy to remarkably clear, vivid, and life like. I begin to question again if I am dreaming or in waking life due to the sudden clarity.

I decide to perform another reality check by looking into the foggy mirror. I see a somewhat distorted image of myself, confirming yet again that I am dreaming.

At this point I get too excited and start to wake up. I try touching the tiles in the shower to stay grounded but the lucid dream ends before I can do anything else.
