    Time and Dedication

I'm with a co-worker in a side-room, filling up an ink cartridge. I go through the doors, and enter into the a courtyard area that extends down in great length. I begin walking through the courtyard area, and my awareness raises. I suddenly realize I'm in a dream. I look down at the ink cartridge, and realizing that this dream plot no longer even matters, I chuck it to the side. i take in my surroundings of gray stone pavement sprawled across the open area. The Walls surrounding the courtyard a made of of very light burnt red brick material. I stare toward the far end, and notice a small set of doors in the middle. I single tree stands in the middle of the courtyard. To the right, there is a large square opening in the wall - a type of underpass leading to another area. I begin grounding myself into the dream, and focus intensely. I start shouting "clarity in the dream". The dream becomes super vivid and life-like, and I'm blown away. I'm super excited at waht I'm experiencing, and just want to explore a bit at this point. The dream feels very stable, and I don't want to risk it, so I fly low to the ground toward the underpass into the next area. I enter the room, and see two levels with the upper area consisting of a winding walkway with a black rail. Behind this walkway stis another room far behind. I begin to shout to the dream "subconscious make me lucid more often" a couple times. i see a DC on the walkway. He's a bit heavyset and blonde with a male-pattern bald spot. I tell him this is the astral, and I ask him how I can go to the astral more often (implying LD). He turns to me in a 'I wish I knew type of manner' and replied "I'm learnign from you. I'm impacted by his voice intonation and it's implied meaning, and feel a sense of awe and wonder from his response. I then ask if he can give a bit more information. He says "All I know is that it takes time and dedication. I decide to continue onward, and am still impressed by the stability as well as length. I feel I'm at around 7-8 minutes. I fly through this area into the rooms beyond. The dream begins fading, but I don't want it to end just yet. I begin rubbing my dream body all over. I decide to start whistling. The song Norwegian Wood comes into my head and I'm carrying the tune through a white void. I begin jogging my memory for dream goals, and remember I wanted to go to The Reishi Forest I lose lucidity, and enter into a normal dream.
