memorable

No entry for yesterday since I'd rather it not be public, but for documentation's sake I did dream about Dave Strider again like I'd intended! Bro, too! I also became lucid briefly to change the scene twice so I was pleased about that :) Tags/categories for that dream are: lucid, memorable, nightmare, fandom: Homestuck. Now for last night's:

1.
Jake trying to get our mom to buy him a subscription to something on the computer, a game? She won't because she's too busy with job stuff at the moment, and Jake harasses her, asking exactly what she's been doing this whole time since she has yet to gain a single client.

After/at the time this is happening (idk) I'm looking at a Dragon Age mod for a new character race called 'Fajjyn'?? The character is a slightly creepy-looking female with deep eyes, grey skin and bright red hair. Then I hear a short police siren and when I look outside I see the light from a flashlight shining on houses, but the light is pink.

2.
I'm on the floor drawing with Brandie, using paper and pencils. Somehow she is really fast and near-perfect, and I get frustrated because whatever I draw isn't that good. She tries showing me her technique by drawing a rock, and I copy it but the rock looks too flat. We practice more til I create some decent-looking rocks, but unlike her small, smooth stones, mine are large, black and jagged things that pile up in sheets, literally! As I keep drawing, the rocks become real.


notes: During 1, I was feeling upset with Jake for acting that way but I wonder if it's my subconscious worrying that my mom will back out on everything after she's put in so much effort. The drawing dream definitely came from my worrying about being good enough when it comes to my art. But it was cool to draw something into existence, I'd like to try that again sometime!

Also, I had intended to dream about Dave again, but if it happened, I don't recall it.

Been a member for a thousand years and never did anything!! I'll try to be consistent with this from now on. For now, I'll copy/paste what I've relayed to Keitorin and work on getting entries written every morning.

In both sets of dreams I was and looked like myself, but view was almost always third-person, only a few times did I see things through my own form's eyes.

These dreams are from August 31st, 2013:

1. I killed somebody?? Yeah, I was in this house and trying to get away from some policeman for some reason, think I was framed for something (but then went and actually commited a crime lolol) so then I went into a neighboring house and found a little girl hiding inside this high, deep cabinet full of door after door. Apparently some guys were looking for her, I dunno who but I get an FBI impression. Then we're found though, and everything turns out ok except for the cringe I made when shown the policeman's helmet and asked if I knew anything :P So then it's somehow decided I'm gonna take care of the girl because her parents are nowhere to be found and we start coloring Little Mermaid coloring books with crayons.

2. And thennn I was in some kinda game, bit like DN (Dragon Nest). I had to get past this gated bridge with a wall along the water but couldn't without getting a thing from a quest the gatekeeper lady gives me. She told me a riddle so I could go and find it but I can't remember what it was. Then I guess I was like 'fuck that' because I hopped on some big boat and drove it right through the apparently very shitty wall and went on my way. Ain't nobody got time for your silly quests, lady.

3. AND THEN I was in some living room with other people getting ready for a Halloween party but everything was kinda like Christmas because there were lights everywhere, little jack-o-lantern strings and stuff, and presents were going to be exchanged. So in there, my old friend Lindzy calls me and she's with a bunch of other people who are getting ready to come over and she plays a message Mojo from The Wigglian Way podcast left for me, wishing me a happy Halloween and I was surprised and happy XD

Note: I'm not actually sure of the order of the last two, feels like 2 might've occured in the middle of one or something, it was very fragmented.

August 27th, 2013: first known flying dream

I flew! :D Sorta. idk I was on an airship, like a Treasure Planet two-mast deal, except I was at the very front and couldn't see the ship and was moving my body and arms in a way that controlled the flight?? It was weird, but then a bit later I was down near the ground and flying all by myself, but I was getting tired and having a hard time keeping myself up so I was slowly descending while trying to 'jump' higher XD In the end I grabbed onto this telephone pole thingy and slid down it to the ground and that is the first time in memory that I've ever flown! :P
