    1. "A Dream Dreamed Before" (Dreams Before Dream Journal) 5

      by , 05-02-2011 at 03:36 AM
I almost forgot about this dream. The ONLY reason I remembered this dream is it is the first dream I EVER wrote down and only by chance. I am horrible with names and quotes. Even when I woke up and attempted to write this dream down I couldn't recall the words exactly. This is what I remember. "Hipicus hopicus men are" poly something. "Hopicus hipicus woman are" mono something. I don't recall anything visually about this dream or if it was a man or woman that said it. I knew that it was important. I don't know why. I felt it was so important I wrote it down (when I never wrote down my dreams) and wanted to figure out what's meaning. I couldn't find anything about what I had remembered. only the beginning of poly and mono was I able to find a definition for.

I would have forgotten this dream if I hadn't have read it in a book. I know it sounds absurd and isn't possible. If it hadn't happened to me I wouldn't believe it myself. Like I said I'm horrible with quotes and didn't recognize this dream the first time I read it in a book. ("Our Dreaming Mind" Robert Vandecastle". In this book it only states the phrase "hippicus hopicus men are polyogimus. Hopicus hicumus women are monomogumus". (I'm sure that's spelled all kins of wrong) and goes on to say that not all dreams are as important as they seemed while you were dreaming. (Very good book) Then about a month later I had started reading a book specifically on lucid dreams. Then I read the story about the same dream in full context from the persons dream journal. While reading this I had a flash back of the dream I had. It was a dream I would have remembered otherwise because I'm bad at quotes. But feelings and reactions on the other hand. The person that dreamed this same dream also had the same feeling of importance upon waking about the quote. He also didn't remember anything but the quote and couldn't find out what its meaning. (But he also remembered the quote in full upon waking). I find this dream more interesting than any of my others including my lucid ones. It also creeps me out more than any other. I still have no idea what this quote means.

    2. "The Shitty Bridge" (Dreams Before Dream Journal) 3

      by , 05-02-2011 at 01:04 AM
I was 13-14 when I dreamed this. I was living with my great grandparents at the time.

was in a dark hallway. There was a couple doors and I opened the one at the end of the hallway. When I did the daylight at first prevented me from seeing out. As my vision adjusted to the light I seen there was a bridge. It was made out of ropes and pieces of wood. I open the door all the way and seen I was in a big city landscape. As I walked out on the bridge I noticed the building I had came out of and the building across from me were matching ski scrapers. I walked across the bridge and opened the door. It opened into a room with people wearing head dresses. I was happy to see them. But when they noticed me they all seemed to get angry I was there. They started chasing me and I went back out the door I had came in hoping to reach the other building. When I was halfway across the wooden bridge it collapsed from the many people that were on it and we all fell to the concrete and I awoke.

    3. "Symphony of the Night" (Dreams Before Dream Journal )

      by , 05-02-2011 at 12:38 AM
This is the second oldest dream I can recall. I was living in the apartment I dreamed of in the first dream. I was 12-13 years old at the time. It was right after play station came out and I had been playing "Castlevaina: Symphony of the Night" the last month. I was stuck and couldn't beat this one part of the game for the last week. It was in the upside down part of the castle and the guy that has a bunch of bee's come out of his decomposing body hung up on chains. Then I had the following dream and got past that part the next day.

Its not much of a dream. It was just a tv screen in front of me with no sides I was so close. I wasn't aware of my body. I was controlling the character in the video game. I was trying to beat the part I had been stuck on. I beat it and woke up.

    4. "Hole in Me" (dreams before dream journal)

      by , 05-02-2011 at 12:22 AM
This is the first dream I can remember having. I don't know where I was living when I dreamed this. When recalling this dream I noticed it looked like an apartment I had lived at but I know it was before we lived there when I dreamed it. So this is before I turned 12 at my best guess.

I was standing in the hallway next to the kitchen. I could see the glass doors that led outside to the yard. It was daytime. I seen terminator (yeah Arnold) walk in the living room. He tried to shoot me. I ran past him and out the glass door to the out side. I ran out to the road and seen a hug culvert (drain pipe if I spelled wrong). I hid inside for a moment and decided to check and see if he was following me. He was and so was a female terminator. He shot me. I don't recall ever feeling it. I looked down and ther was a huge hole in my belly and I wondered "how can I still be standing up". As I put my hand threw the hole and seen my spine was gone. I then woke up.

    5. "The Coin Room" (Dec 13, 2010) My First Lucid Dream

      by , 05-01-2011 at 04:09 AM
I was standing in a room looking at the wall. My first view was of the light of the day coming threw the window on to the curving white walls. I looked up and noticed that the window was about 50 feet up. The top of the window was arched . The wall was so high I could not see were or if it ended. The room was basically shaped like an upside down funnel. When looking up it seemed not to end and the circle was smaller the higher up the wall. I began to look around the room and don't remember too many details other than it was (I don't know the correct term) decorated in an Indian/Tibetan look and every thing was against the wall. I looked to the left and I seen an older bald man with facial hair, shirt less but dressed to match the room, sitting in a lotus position meditating. There was an alter behind him with burning incense candle holders. Not the exact words, but he told me "If you stay at the house too long your dream will turn into a nightmare. Leave before the wolfs come". While he spoke I was looking at the details of the stuff behind him. Noticing that the floor was metal looking and looked on the floor from the wall to myself and noticed the floor had engravings all over it. (I didn't remember the markings when I woke.) He was sitting were the head would be on a quarter. Then I looked at my hands and said "Hey, I'm dreaming" I felt my body change from being weightless to having weight. I got so excited about becoming lucid for the first time I started spinning around in circles. (Later I read that is a trick to prolonging a dream, so I felt so lucky that was my first instinct.) When the excitement wore off a bit, I decided I wanted to fly. ( I must say I regret not meditating during this dream for many reasons.) So I tried to jump and fly and failed. I then decided that even if I could fly in here were would I go any way. So I found the door behind me and tried to open it. It wouldn't open. I fought with it and tried forcing it open. I got so frustrated that I then lost my lucidness, weight, and body pulling myself threw the door and in to the air a couple feet. I floated down viewing an outside scene. There were trees, the grass was mowed and a car parked in front of me. J.R. then got out of the drivers side of the car. He waved at me to get me to come get in the car as he got in on the passengers side. I went and got in the car. My son Simon was sitting in the back behind me. We then drove to the house I knew we was going too. When we arrived we went into the kitchen and sat down with my grandma on my dad's side. I don't remember anything she said. I was too focused on the neat shelving system behind her. The best description I could think of was that it looked like a chess bored with no back to it and not as many rows of squares. It had different types of rocks and crystals in many colors and shapes. Then I noticed she had the huge crystal rocks (almost as big as a basket ball.) That I had found as a child with my friend kyle (but couldn't even keep one because his dad wanted them. His property. Jerk.). After seeing that I was done talking and had JR watch Simon as I unpacked our stuff. I was putting my stuff away in the bathroom when I heard someone knocking on the door. I walked out of the bathroom, past my sister and one of friends naked heading toward the bathroom. I walked down the hallway to the back door. It had windows so I could see who was out there. It was Reece (guy on youtube) He had his hood covering his hair and almost mistaken him for thomas (sisters x). Then I seen he didn't have blue eyes and his skin was lighter. I was happy to see him instead od thomas and wanted to kiss him. I then tried to let him in so I could. Another door I couldn't open but I didn't let myself get frustrated because its embarrassing for me. So I asked him to "go around to the front door". And he nodded a yes and walked toward the font. I then headed that way, successfully opening that door but he never came. I then remembered what the meditating man had said and felt that my dream was beginning to turn sour. I ran around the house packing my stuff and telling jr we had to leave. I went into the bathroom to get that stuff and couldn't find my face lotion. I then decided it wasn't important enough to stay and risk not leaving before the wolves arrived. We then left. The road seemed elevated because the ground was covered in fog. The dream continued for another scene before waking but I forgot the end while writing the beginning.
