Robo's Dreams

I was browsing the dreamviews forum, I noticed there was a new announcement, so I clicked on it, It was about the "New dreamviews game system" I thought, "Oh no, is dreamviews stealing flash games now too?" I skimmed through the 3 post long announcement and saw a bunch of Korean mmos under "supported games"

someone should make a fun game that prompts you to reality check at random times while playing.

Edward elric was kneeling over his brother, Alphonse, who is a suit of armor. Ed is completely defeated. there is a river in front of him and a rock face behind him.

A portal opens behind him in the rocks, an older version of Ed walks through. My consciousness is split between them. The older version of Ed has some advice for the younger Ed, something about moving on, young Ed doesn't want to hear it.

scene change

They are eating in a dining room, younger Ed is still wary of older Ed, Alphonse is trying to convince younger Ed that there is nothing to worry about, he is sure that older Ed is trustworthy.

I am standing in front of a spanish speaking man. I say, "Como se dece?" (how do you say?) he looks at me strangly and says, "Come se dece," with accent on the e, as if correcting me.

I was at the lunch table at school with some friends, It was my birthday. A came by and asked what I wanted for my birthday, I noticed that her hair was more orange than it used to be, and her voice was slightly different. I made a clever remark about wanting her that I can't remember now and stared at her for a few seconds, smiling at my cleverness. Her mood changed to annoyed and she said, "Oh, so you want sex." She walked off.

I relised that I had made a mistake, and chased her down immediately, she hadn't gotten very far, I apologized. to my relief, she accepted my apology.

I was on the collage campus, there was a woman in front of me.

I woke up, and my subconscious started recalling the dream for me, it was something about being on a spaceship, the walls had detailed and intricate square designs.

A few minutes into the recall, I realized I didn't have enough time to recall everything second hand. I somehow knew that It was going to take awhile because it was a REALLY long dream. so I stopped listening and went back to sleep.

I just knew that the woman followed me through the whole dream.

My dreams where a jumbled mess of images until I remembered the mantra that I was saying all day yesterday, "I am dreaming, I am dreaming"

I was outside, there was a beach behind me and a car in front of me. I started to get into the car when I heard my mantra, "I am dreaming."

I paused and realized that I was dreaming, then I got into the car. I thought of my goals for the night, I only had one that I could think of. The goal was to meet Raven Knight at the volcanic planet that I had painted, but how to get there? All of the scenarios that I had visualized before going to bed involved me already being at the planet.

I attempted to visualize the planet, but nothing happened. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get myself to move. It reminded me of the last time I was lucid, I had no control over my dreams.

I looked out the car window, I expected the moon to shoot up over the mountains in the distance any second now. Sure enough, It did, but with more force than I had anticipated. I willed it to slow down and stop, and it did.

then I woke up.

I was in an airport with my mom and brother, we where going on a trip to Hawaii. We got on the plane and took off. About halfway through, I glanced over at my brother, he was using a large computer to track where the plane was, I looked away.

I looked back after a few minutes, my brother had the computer upside down and he was taking something long, red and cylindrical out of the bottom of the computer. I started yelling at him for taking the airplanes computer apart, my mom, who was sitting in front of us, chimed in and took my side. He put the object back into the computer and put it back together. he left it alone for the rest of the trip.

we landed and went to the beach, it was crowded, but still fun. at one point I found a man in green swimming trunks about half the size of a baby, standing at the bottom of the water. thinking he might be drowning, I pulled him out of the water, but he just jumped out of my hands and sunk to the bottom of the water every time I tried to pick him up.

I got out of the water for a bit and looked for a vending machine, I saw one and went over to it. My mom was there and asked me to get something for her from the vending machine. she gave me a penny and a crusty gummy whistle to pay for the snacks. (I thought the gummy whistle was odd, but it didn't trigger a reality check).

I looked at the vending machine, I couldn't read anything, so I looked closer, I noticed everything on the machine was free! I couldn't figure out what I wanted though I told my mom that everything was free, and she came over and got something, I was still looking for something when I woke.

Note, in this dream my senses where fairly scrambled, I'm still not sure If I got the order of events correct.

I was at my grandmothers house. I was talking to a being that I could tell was much stronger than me. I think it either told me about, or showed me a gargantuan demon that feeds on dreams, the reason that most people forget their dreams when they awaken.

I am back at my grandmothers house, a portal appears and someone I know walks through, although I have no idea who it was, I could tell they where friendly. they say something about going fishing, I agree to go.

we walk through the portal and the next thing I know, I am sitting down with a fishing rod. there is one person to the left of me, and several people to the right, one of them is playing the guitar.

I can't tell if the next part actually happened or if I just imagined it.
someone to the right of me caught a whale, then I either got pulled in, or caught a killer whale.

I sense a giant black creature, it has several eyes and mouths. I can tell that it is in the water, so I take my feet out.

I start to get engrossed in the guitar music, I can feel strings wrapping around my mind. I ask them to stop playing for a minute, they oblige. I feel the dream slipping, so I attempt time dilation. I visualize a clock, 12 hours to 24 hours to 48 hours. at 24 hours, I feel my body getting tight, at 48 hours, I'm completely paralyzed.

False awakening.

I am in sleep paralysis at my grandmothers house in the guest bed. I broke out of it with pure strength, I felt good about myself. I got out of bed and woke up for real.

this wasn't a dream so much as me going through my memories.

I was laying in bed, sorting through my matrix of memories. I found myself in the area where I store the memories of my ipod's email.

there where 3 memories sorted in "actually happened" (for lack of a better way to describe it) that I know for a fact didn't actually happen, or are impossible.

One of them was a message when I opened the email, it popped up and said, "Email cannot be opened"

another one, when opened covered my ipod in blood splatter.

the third memory was a bit more disturbing to me, It appeared to be a message from my subconscious, I didn't even have to open it, the mail description said, "You are engrossed with yourself"

I'm not sure if it read engrossed, or obsessed though.

I had just won the superbowl, I was going to be paid a lot of money to say, "I'm going to McDonalds" But I decided that I wasn't going to. Instead I said, "I'm going to spend time with my daughter!" (Movie reference). the crowd went wild. the guy who interviewed me started walking with me when I left the stadium. He appeared to be an old man, his looks told me that he was frail, but I could sense that he was anything but. he introduced himself as Galileo, I said, more to myself than him, "Galileo Galile" he responded, "no just Galileo." I replied, "I know, I'm just trying to remember the name."

Then a twilight fan appeared out of nowhere and started being distracting, I tried to continue my conversation, but she was too distracting.

First of all, I'm not sure if this was actually a year long dream, or if there was just a bunch of time skips. Anyway, here it is.

I had lived in a large house with the people in it for at least a year. the people knew me well, and I knew them well. you could say we where a family. there was a benevolent spirit in the basement fireplace, he took the form of the face in the magic mirror from snow white. he had helped me on several occasions.

It was time for me to return to the belfry spirit (the bell tower of a church, not sure if I spelled that right). it was a malevolent spirit that I had been working for. I traveled to the belfry and climbed to the top of the tower, he gave me my mission, kill everyone in the house that I had been staying at. he materialized a screwdriver and a rectangular piece of metal to use as the tools that I would use. I told him, "an eye for an eye makes us all blind" and I threw the tools out of the window.

This infuriated him, the next thing I knew, I was in the back seat of a car that was speeding to the house. when we got there, the spirit of the belfry wanted to do battle with the spirit of the fireplace. I ran into the house shouting, "EMERGENCY!" everyone started down the stairs and leaving, I ran downstairs, there was one more person, but she wouldn't budge, so I left her. I ran to the fireplace, but I woke up before I was able to contact the spirit.

I was playing a diablo style game, I was in the main menu. there was a tutorial on the new hunger system, i wasn't particularly interested, but you had to watch it to start the game. the hunger meter lights up when you are hungry, Black = not hungry, yellow/orange = hungry, Red = starving. after I finished the tutorial, I started the game.

I was inside a dungeon, I thought this was a bit odd because normally you start in a town, oh well. I was standing over a pile of ash, I searched through it, finding weapons and little globs of ash, the tooltip said that the globs of ash could be washed or disenchanted to produce weapons. I filled up my inventory, and then spent a few minutes sorting it. when I was satisfied, I started exploring. I noted that the immediate area consisted of a circular hallway with four corridors, leading to the north, south, east, and west. one of which had the ash. I picked a hallway and started walking. soon enough, I encountered some monsters, the view changed to 3rd person isometric, and I noticed that I was wearing a blue wizard hat, I chuckled to myself, and said, "I put on my robe and wizard hat." then I woke up, wrote this down, and went back to bed.

I was raven knight, I thought that I was in waking life. I was fighting a woman who had powers, so I needed to figure out a way to use my dream powers. for some reason, an energy source appeared. I had never seen this type of energy before, it was made of souls. If i looked hard, I could see each individual soul in the swirling mass, and they could take many forms. I was hesitant to use this power because I was unsure if it was safe. the enemy also summoned an energy source of souls, but it was different, I could see that one of the souls in her energy was unwilling to work with her. my soul energy attached to the back of my head, even though I did not actively tell it to, but I didn't have to do anything, my enemy's unwilling soul took control of the rest of the souls, and transformed into a dragon, and attacked my enemy, i did nothing but watch, then I woke up.
