In through the looking glass (Shared)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

i become aware that im dreaming while im in a bedroom. i think about what i want to do and i remember talking to A. earlier in the day and telling her id try to find her next time i got lucid. i remember reading about using mirrors to travel to other peoples dreams so i start walking around the house looking for one.

i find a bathroom and i walk into it. i hop up onto the vanity and press my hand against the glass. its solid. i pull my hand back and start saying over and over again how i want to find A. as im doing that i put my palm against the glass again and push.

nothing happens at first. but then slowly my hand starts to sink into the mirror. its very hard going, like pushing my hand through cold molasis. the feeling in my fingers and hand is cold and pulsating. as my arm slowly slides into the mirror, the feeling spreads up my arm. after im in past my elbow im instantly sucked the rest of the way through.

*jump*

everything goes black. my stomach is in my throat as im falling and spinning faster than ive ever gone in my life. there is an amazingly loud roar in my ears and it feels like im falling through the middle of a pitch black tornado. i fall for what feels like forever.

*jump*

POP! suddenly i can see again and next thing i know is im flying through a mountain valley. i look down and see a lone tent in an alpine meadow. i swooped down towards it and then become ecstatic because A. is there by the tent setting it up.

i flew past her screaming "Hey! Look at me, i did it! I'm me, I'm just light!" i race past her and stop in the air. i turn around and fly past her again but once im past her the dream starts shaking like a movie going off the reel and i lose the dream.

i was living in oregon at the time and my friend was living in ohio. i got online the next night and IM'd her. all i said was something along the lines of "Did we have a dream last night?"

she replied yes and then typed out the dream she was having where her and her friends were out in the mountains camping. all of a sudden i showed up and flew around for 10 or 15 seconds and then disappeared.

i asked her if i said anything and she said yes, but she couldnt understand a word of it.

i thought it was neat how i didnt see any of her friends or their tents when i was in her dream but she swears they were there.
