    1. Venezuelan Avalanches and other strange things

by , 11-25-2014 at 05:23 PM (SuperSN's Journal of Eclectic Dreams)
      Dream 1:

I'm in Venezuela with George W. Bush on a mountainside overlooking a city. On the other side of the city is a mountain range just like the one we're on. For all intents and purposes, the city might as well be in a really shallow canyon. A massive avalanche comes from the other mountain and sweeps over the city and us. When the snow settles, there's the coolest vista I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Just stunning. There were also these plants scattered around that poomf-ed out some purple dust that dotted the otherwise totally white landscape. We start walking down the mountain, along with loads of tourists. I meet lots of women CEOs and COOs on the way down. One pulls me off the trail and onto a small little rock that's hard to stand on. I find a handhold in the packed snow that's on it. She heads an online teaching service that seems to use the same framework as Udacity. Her courses are very small, but the questions are very intensive for every video.

Flashback to her as a mom and home school teacher, she's having her kids use the teaching tool she made. She looks really frazzled, like an overworked housewife. The kids are using iMacs. A son has a blackboard over his screen, and the mom tells him to take it off and begin his quiz, already on the screen. The house suddenly catches on fire. Pan out, and we see she lives on the river in a massively dense city. I remember this fire being very famous, and a lot of people died as a result of it. She and her kids jump out a window into the river and swim downstream. There's some odd shenanigans about the kids having some sort of dormant water-based disease, and the mom can't kiss them. The father of the household, skinny tall and blonde, comes down and practically thanks the gods that his family is safe. Later, the mom's cousin who is now a handyman wiz kid comes over and starts fixing everything in exchange for room and board. He has a very strange hairstyle and those hilarious circle-cartoon glasses on.

I'm now inside the refurbished home and accidentally pushed a brick in the wall. It sinks in, and another brick pops out slightly. I press that, then a third, then the whole wall folds in Diagon Alley-style. I descend into the depths below, Minerva McGonagall now in tow. It's like a cave, and getting from room to room takes some sucking in. All the rooms we pass are on an incline, so we just slide down slowly. In most of these rooms there are spooky-looking horizontal bookcases that have spiderwebs all over them and a large curved handle to pull them further out. We finally arrive at a room large enough to stand in and a normal vertical bookshelf with books that look like they were taken straight out of a Barnes and Nobles. They even had slips of paper in them with the price. One of the books was really thick and had a maroon and gold cover. I red the synopsis about some survival game that centers around water in a huge labyrinth. On the front it says it's part of a collection of books that are inspired by Steven King's strange dreams and hallucinations. Although the book is only $5, a steal, I decide to write down the details and check it out at the library later, because I want to be frugal.

      Dream 2 (and 3?):

I'm riding a bike towing a large cart around town. It's pink and is pretty embarrassing. I pull up to a gas station but I'm not sure how to park my bike. I see inside my dad is speaking with a lot of other people in a lounge, and I go inside to fetch him. He's preoccupied, but I eventually get hold of him and beckon him outside. The bike has now changed colors to blue and there is a lady filling up my bike. I assume she's found a way to park the bike, but my dad tells me it's on the front wheel. We never thank the lady, and I'm not even sure I get on my bike before the dream ends. Ish.

I'm on a porn set that looks like a bad cartoon from the mid-90s. They're currently filming a MMFF scene, and the women seem to be enjoying it quite a fair bit. The cartoon effect is removed from the dream. One of the men starts to orgasm but instead of ejaculating, he shoots lasers out of his dick that explode on contact. The crew and actors start running around like chicken with their heads cut off and this dick-laser guy is pretty distraught over the fact that he can't stop it. Turns out Zeus has cursed all male adult actors and each one has a different ailment. The dream POV moves over to the other actor and his balls are giant, metal, spiky, and detached from his body. He has to carry his dangerous balls around on a magical chain that radiates a blue glow.

I'm in my apartment now, and my friend Garrett and my dad are with me. We're making lunches for a lot of people to eat sometime later. They're all in white lunch bags, and I think they're for a hiking trip. We wonder how we'll take these to where they need to go, and I remember I own a bike suited to this very job, the one I took to the gas station. I suggest that to some ehhs. I also think about how that male actor with the balls he has to lug around could greatly benefit from a bike like mine.
This is where the dream ends and I wake up.

    2. Black Surgeon and the Magic Pepper Grinder

by , 11-21-2014 at 04:23 PM (SuperSN's Journal of Eclectic Dreams)
      Dream 1:

It was nighttime, and me and another man were being escorted by a black man to a nice looking home. We stepped inside to an extravagant kitchen centered around a massive pillar. The other man and the black man stepped away and went somewhere else. I decided to investigate and walk around the pillar, which was covered by a counter going around the circumference. Dinner had obviously been cooked just recently. There was a all-steel stockpot whose lid was rattling around like whatever was inside was about to over boil. There were cooking implements scattered around and a glass baking pan with some pasta and a half-eaten slice of garlic bread in it. I took a sample of the bread; It was great.

I stepped outside to a small-church-graveyard-looking thing, with a black spiked fence surrounding it. There was fog all around and a tomb (mausoleum?) off to my right. I approached the tomb and the black man, now dressed in surgeon wear, stepped outside, mumbling something about the surgery he was performing inside the tomb. The black man turned surgeon and the other man began chasing something around the house.

      Dream 2:

Me and at least ten other people were tightly packed on a tiny green hill with a coffee table in the center of us. My mom was among the crowd. Some were standing, others sitting. Someone was making a performance. I had a pepper grinder in my hand and as if it were second nature, smacked the bottom on my open palm. I raised the grinder to reveal a wooden statue now on my palm, no bigger than the diameter of the grinder and not much taller than it. I was amazed and did the same motion to get similar results, a wooden circle on the bottom and some complex wooden design raising above it. Some designs were more complex than others. By this time I was standing and had garnered the attention of everyone else in the group, including the performer. They ooh-ed and aah-ed every time I revealed another statue. My mom in particular was very impressed, and I kept thinking that this was no sleight of hand, this was actual, genuine magic.

Eventually I revealed the most complex design of them all, with thin ribbons crossing over each other, balls scattered throughout, and resin anime figures, which was weird. I was very impressed by this one, and shortly after I woke up from the dream.
