The Edges of the World and Underwater Babes

I was sitting on a beach with some people who I didn't know, but were apparently my family. There was a black table with a vertical lip around it in front of me. In the table, there were areas of red sand. I noticed that Dan from Extra Credits was sitting to the left of me, and he began explaining that the table was a representation of the world, and that you could push stuff off the edges and it would be gone forever. He said that the people of the desert in the south screwed themselves over by doing this. They lost a huge portion of their land, and basically became an island nation, instead of a huge sprawling desert nation. He also explained how heroes and their legends were localized to very specific areas, but I wasn't listening very hard on that part.

My "father" saw a green X mark on the ground forward and to the left of me, and decided he wanted to dig it up. I don't know if there was anything special there, because I decided to dig up another green X further away from the water's edge. The wind was blowing really hard though, and there was a woman sitting right next to the X. Because of my positioning, I couldn't dig the sand without the wind either blowing it back to where it was or blowing it into the woman.

Next thing I know, I'm underwater open-air restaurant. There were a bunch of naked ladies swimming around, they were waitresses. I wanted to eat, but they only served 2 things, a $40 4 course meal or a $20 sandwich of the remains of the chicken they used to make the 4 course meal, and they fried those. I swam over to a lady with blonde hair and complained about the prices, but she scoffed at me and gave off the vibe that I wasn't rich enough to even be here. I got mad and demanded a seat, and then the dream ended.
