The Adventurer

This non lucid dream took place in a video game. However i am in the video game world with many real people. Lots of friends and some family. It was long and vivid, hopefully i won't leave out any important details.

Throughout the video game world there are portals and doors leading to other areas to explore. To open these doors/portals into other areas 4 gems are needed. You must find the four gems and place them in the correct order in the ground to open the next door and to advance. I remember starting in a dungeon. The dungeon is pretty straight forward, like in a video game. There are some corridors that branch off of the main one, but they all eventually lead back to where i was before. Throughout the dungeons i am finding gems. Each set of four gems will be placed correctly to open another gate/door/portal. I don't remember where we found the first four, but we found them, this opened the next area to us and let us search deeper and deeper into the dungeon. As we explore the next area of the dungeon we find another set of gems to open ANOTHER deeper part of the dungeon. At a certain point it occurs to me that we missed one of the 'gateway openers' where the gems should have been placed. almost everyone else disagrees and thinks that we should just continue. I say that "we can't beat the game without going to this other area that we missed" but no one heeds to my warnings. after going deeper and deeper, farther and farther, and exploring many more levels we leave the dungeon. We come outside into a rain forest type environment. I find a little pendant and swear that it is important to the room i think we missed. once again no one heeds to my warnings, and we continue on. The last room i remember reaching was shaped like a cross. We walked in through the bottom of the cross. On the left side there was a portal, no doubt leading to another world. On the right there was the same thing. The last portal straight ahead and on the head of the cross was bigger and probably the most important. I turn to my brother and ask, which do we go through first?

Surely i am missing some stuff, but this was a long dream and i got everything that i could remember. it also triggered my to recall another dream from last night!

8.24.10 It's been a few days since i posted my dreams so on the next couple entries i will try to get as many as i can remember. This first one is from a couple nights ago

SAW(7?)

I can remember where it started. I can remember where it ended. I walked in to the movie theater. Sat down and started watching the newest saw movie. I walk out of the theater thinking That was not what i expected. It was more like a comedy. It didn't even have the characters from the other saw movies. I guess this means that my subconscious has some interesting new ideas and twists for the next saw movie.
