It started at soccer practice. My fun competitive soccer practice. I was with all my friends and having a great time. After practice one of my team mates: Al, asked for a ride. i said it was fine, my bro would be driving us. not only did al get in, but so did vic. My bro needed to know where to take them. Al said "my mom's work". We didn't know where it was and oddly enough... neither did he. So we drove to where we thought it might be. At the university, where we practice. we went there, parked the car, got out and went to look for al's mom. Somehow when we went inside i lost al and vic. i also got separated from my bro. I ended up in a room with two strangers. They were blond. There was also food in the room. I took a sandwich and ate it. After eating it i realized that i was supposed to have paid for it. Screw it, i left. I ended up in a room with a fascinating contraption. Taking care of the contraption was one of my teachers. My favorite teacher, a math teacher. He had a grand plan and it involved the machine, which might, transport me through time?!?!? I ended up calling my bro and asking him where he was and what he was doing. He responded: i'm eating at a china buffet. I couldn't go because i had already eaten the stolen sandwich and i was too excited about my teacher's adventure anyways. that's when the dream ended.

8.16.10 dream #5

this is my 5th dream posted from last night and i have saved the best, longest, most interesting, and most insane dream for last. It was incredibly wrong and i hope i don't leave out too much. I will do my best.

I am on a huge world. It is not earth. It is a fantasy world and i am in a little army that is part of a fantasy adventure. It is a massive quest so vital that, the fate of the world (don't know what it is called), could be decided on it. While i am also a soldier in the small army, i also observe the story from two other points of view. They are from the points of view of two main characters. The two good guys, they are best friends and they are both fighting to save the world. Other people that i remember in the army with me are my brother (wow, hes in almost every single one of my dreams!) and one of my best friends. It is almost like my brother and I are messengers between the two main characters. They are not together and they are both in charge of a different part of the mission. since i remember frequently seeing both of them i am now deducing that i was some kind of messenger. Getting back and forth could be difficult sometimes and I have one distinct memory of having to climb through a a lot of barbed wire to get up a staircase. We had to eventually ask one of the local aliens to help. He brought out a flame thrower and melted the barbed wire away.

Often times i remember climbing along the edge of a cliff with a vast ocean below. There was also one scene when we were flying over a forest and eventually landing in front of a massive wood building. I don't remember the objective there or what we ended up doing but that flight was very memorable. Perhaps one of the most memorable scenes was near the end. I was with the rest of the army and one of the two leaders. We were about to reconnect with the second leader and if we succeeded, we would save the world. We were in a large room with and the door leaving was locked. No one could get it open so we started looking around the room. Eventually we all started hearing voices telling us each individually what to do. Whoever was talking to us sure did wreak some havoc. Everyone started to point their guns at each other and shout. The voice was telling us that we had to kill everyone else to survive. I quickly made my way to the leader and said that we couldn't possibly kill each other. We had to work together and all that the voice was doing was trying to get us all killed. I shouted at everyone to stop and think about how we could get out without killing each other. my best friend had his gun pointed at me! I begged them all to see my reasoning and think about escaping logically. Eventually when they all listened to me and put down their guns the door opened. We had passed the test.

I then remember making my way out to the edge of the cliff and standing with my friend and brother. The two leaders were reunited and the world was saved. The last thing i remember was them embracing like the best friends in the world.

While i remembered a lot from this dream there are still some questions that certainly need answers. some of these questions are:
was i really a messenger?
Where was this world?
Who exactly were those two leaders?
What were we saving the world from?
How exactly did we succeed in saving the world?
who was the voice in the room?

I will probably never get the answers to these puzzle-solving questions but it was still a pretty memorable and, in my opinion, epic dream.

This was my second dream from a couple days ago (7.18.10) and took place when I fell back to sleep after my first two-second lucid experience.

In the dream I woke up, I was in the exact same house that I was ACTUALLY in I noticed that the location of the house was completely different. I was in a city, a very dry city. I have no idea where it was. Maybe I was in a fantasy world? I went down stairs and started doing stuff. My uncles then appeared, interrupting the doing of stuff. I went with them outside (very dry, like a desert) and we started playing a game. We played the game for a little while and then started heading back. I walked with a friend from school (This is the only part of the dream I remember seeing him in) and we talked about places I've traveled and places I would like to travel. Somehow i got separated from the rest of the group and became lost. I wanted to go home but I had no idea how to get there. I finally found a way through and as I was walking through a truck full of archers zoomed by and started shooting arrows at me. I ran and they continued to shoot. One arrow eventually grazed the top of my head (OW!) and I woke up.

Or at least I thought I woke up. Some man was sitting beside the bed and he asked, "What happened?!?!" It turns out this was a false awakening which triggered my waking up for real.
