    ∞ The Rabbit Hole

    Hey there, and welcome to my dream journal. Haha I'm honored that you took the time to show interest and I hope you won't regret it. I've been keeping dream journals in notebooks for years but this is my first online public one. I'm hoping that this way I can open up my world of dreams for other people to enjoy and discuss so feel free to comment on anything. In any case I hope you enjoy taking a peek at the stuff my mind does when it's given freedom. Hopefully there's something good to be said about what's contained here, but if not I'll certainly take a look at any suggestions for improvement and do my best. Have fun and keep dreaming!

    Here are some of the people who I reference in some of my dreams as well as a little context for perhaps a little better understanding of some of the situations. These people can range from close family and friends, to acquaintances, to people I met once years ago. I'll probably alphabetically organize them later haha.


    Family
    Mom-Anyone might say this about their own mom but honestly she's the closest thing to an angel anyone could be. Her presence seems to lift everyone around her, she's inspiring, sweet, kind, and is always there for people. She works as a hospice nurse, meaning she cares for those who are terminally ill and are very near death. Her job is not to heal them, it is to guide them into death and help relieve some of both their, and their family's pain and suffering. An inspiring and uplifting person to be around.

    Dad- Engineer for 30 years. Where I got a lot of my genes. He's now retired which gave him more time to do what he loves, read. He soaks up information and is incredibly insightful in almost every subject you would care to ask him about. What can I say, he's been a fantastic and loving father.

    Older sister- When she was younger she was very shy and awkward but has since grown to be quite independent and strong. She never really excelled in any field well enough to consider a profession in it and as such has changed "what she's always wanted to be" many many times. Currently though she is working hard to become a dental assistant.

    Younger Sister- She's your typical teenage girl. Always on the phone and wanting to go to the mall with friends. She's at the age where she's beginning to loose her innocence and learn about some of the not so great stuff out there which hadn't occurred to her before, because she's such a terribly nice little girl.

    People
    AC- High school friend of mine. He's a charming womanizer with Greek blood(tall with dark hair). Intelligent and up to date on current events he's always in the know about what's happening in the town he's in. Dependable until girls are brought into the mix. Long running skirmishes with JS

    AsN- African American acquaintance who works in the astronomy lab at my university.

    Ch- Younger brother by 3 years of Co

    Co- Good friend of mine from way back. Him and his little brother CH are the younger brothers I never had. They own a nearby farm we'd play on when we were younger.

    DK- Hilarious Korean friend. He is the most ridiculous person you will ever meet. He's the guy who will walk into a group of cheerleaders and make them all laugh but not really care if they like him. Lot's of personality and charisma, also has a lot of wisdom for his age. Him and his younger brother are both very good at StarCraft II, and Poker.

    DkF- The older twin of DvF. The two get in brotherly fights the whole time. Both have been in varsity crew for most of their lives and are fairly athletic but still get good grades. They ended up going to the same university as me on a rowing scholarship. When we were younger I was on an airsoft team with both of the twins. They both play a lot of video games and are consequently good at just about any video game they play automatically. They are good with guns and cars as well. DkF looks a lot like Fin from the television series Glee. As a result a lot of girls at my school found him attractive. He is the more dominant twin.

    DM- Current room mate. Really nice guy, incredibly smart, athletic too. Him and his family are all fantastic people. For you ladies out there, he's single

    DvF- The younger identical twin of DkF. Less dominant than his older brother but in many cases it has served him well and kept him out of some of the heat his brother caused. He has a different style, and is a nice guy. Also pretty good at the bass guitar and member of a band that has gone on to win at several contests and events.

    DW- Friend since preschool. We've been friends for as long as we can remember and have an almost unbreakable bond of friendship. We go to separate universities now but no matter how long we spend apart, it's always just like when we were kids. Great guy, he hangs out with a different crowd but it doesn't really matter at all. As we got older he wasn't really the best at school but that was only because his intelligence lies elsewhere, in more transcendental things. The kind of guy you talk with about the subtle things that have been occupying your thoughts.

    FJ- Very funny black friend of DW. Always laughed with people about black jokes, always left everyone in stitches. Knows a lot of practical things, good with cars and stuff like that.

    GR- Older sister's boyfriend of a few years now. He's the typical working class man. Has a troubled past and is rough around the edges but he's like family now. My older sister and him are currently living with my family.

    Hs- Middle eastern acquaintance from first year university. He's built like a tank and tries hard to appear humble despite constant boasting.

    JO- Very attractive girl from university. Upon introducing her to my friend group every single guy was after her. She's part Turkish so is always tan and has great legs haha. Always funny to watch guys change their behavior and subtly hit on her whenever she's around. She's a pretty strong minded girl as well. One of those people that put up an almost aggressive outside but that are quite sensitive on the inside but don't know how to show their emotions. Also has a bit of an inferiority complex due to living in the shadow of her genius older sister.

    JS- Moderately cute brown haired girl from high school. She's intelligent and knows what she's talking about and independent. She and AC have had on and off relationships but I think she's perfect for him.

    TF- Fellow physics student and friend of mine from university. Not only a borderline genius at physics, but was also a state championship wrestler.

    VnH- Japanese/American friend since grade school. He's neurotic and immature sometimes but I can be like that too. He's very nerdy but in a smart way. For instance he plays Magic the Gathering and League of Legends, but he's analyzed the games to a high level and is supremely efficient.

      Spaceships, Death, and StarCraft (Night -006)

      The Spaceship
      I was on-board an absolutely MASSIVE space craft. This has to be the single largest thing I have ever been able to fully grasp the size of at one time. Sort of like how you have a good feel for the size of your room, you can spatially imagine everything there in its entirety, now if you try to shift your consciousness to encompass your entire house you may find it a little more difficult to completely conceive of the house in its entirety at one time. (at least I do) But you can see where I'm going with this. It was a giant sphere and I was somewhere on the inside. Towards the center I saw many layers. I was with my friend AsN and we were walking in the direction of the perimeter looking through a large rectangular glass window towards the center. There was a huge space between us and the next layer. Then almost as if zooming in, but without making the area I was viewing smaller I could see in detail the next layer and through that layer what was underneath it. It went on like that for several layers ending at what perhaps was the center with a spherical or circular area far larger than the biggest cities I've seen. All of these layers were superbly complex with futuristic technology and city like lights spanning across them. Between each of these layers lay a vast amount of space, like looking at something as far away as the ground looks from an airplane. Even more fascinating is the fact that I didn't know if I was even against the outer wall. I could well have been just in another layer myself, with more layers above me. However I did not get the notion that it was endless or some sort of loop. That it was in itself, a whole structure.

      Strange Death
      I was on a white monorail roller coaster whos structure was designed to emulate the screams of those who rode it. For instance in looking at the rail you could see the averaged sound waves of people's screams. So you would see a certain pattern in the rail where there was a scream and when you would go over it, there would be a drop or a curve sideways and everyone would scream. Somehow the roller coaster transitioned into me in a car. There was a man in a suit driving me somewhere. I asked what was going on and he informed me that I had died. I refused to believe I was dead, this couldn't be what the afterlife. I felt still had so much to give to the world, so many people I had to help and challenges to overcome before it was my time to die. We stopped at what must have been some gas station and the man told me to go over and talk to these two girls who were standing near a black suburban. I got out of the car and decided I was simply not dead and that nobody could tell me otherwise, so I decided to come back to life and I headed to another girl who was filling up with gas. I go over and talk to her. She looks a little rebellious but like she has a lot of spirit. There's a dog with her. She looks at me and smiles like she had been waiting for me. She tells me to get in the car and I feel like by following my spirit I had saved myself.

      Pro SC2 Game
      I was at my friend AC's house and he was training me in StarCraft II. He doesn't even play SC2 but I didn't think this strange. He was some old master of SC2 and he was training me for some professional game I was about to partake in for some reason. It was a 1v1v1 with me and two grand master level pro players. I was a nobody who had come out of nowhere to advance to the final match. It was a crazy epic game of SC2 and for some reason my friend VnH, who also doesn't even play SC2, was casting the games and providing commentary on the strategies all of us were using and how we were building our game.

      SC2 Game on a Huge Map
      Been playing a lot of SC2 this summer if you couldn't tell =D. I was playing against DK who is actually really good at the game so I felt a lot of pressure to even match his level of play. It was some retardedly huge map. Usually a map will have room for around 6 to 8 bases so that you can expand and get more resources etc. This map had like 60 expansion slots which meant we each had like 30 bases and I just remember looking at the mini-map at all the colored areas that were mine and those that were his. There were huge streams of each of our units moving around and colliding in different areas. It was so huge it was useless to look at the actual game, you just had to look at what was going on in the mini map.

      Older Dream
      Oddly enough last night when I was waking up and trying to remember some dreams I actually remembered a dream from several nights before that I had forgot when I woke up. I was in a planetarium with a domed ceiling and I felt almost like I was in a survival game. There were waves of demons that would come and every wave would get larger and more powerful. I was holding out well in the dome but I could feel that if I stayed there much longer they would break through. I managed to get to the ceiling where some other people were. There was a professor kind of guy who was talking to everyone explaining something. I sit down with them and behind him there is what looks like and observatory telescope. It was some sort of giant laser. There were other smaller turrets all over the rooftop we were on. The monsters were trying to climb up the sides of the building but they were getting disintegrated.
