Desperation Happiness

I was on a planet or moon with a bunch of scientists when we discover we are not alone. There is a race of insectoid aliens living there as well and they aren't friendly. I put up turrets and build up our defenses as we run to some sort of safe haven. At his safe place, I'm waiting for my test scores but some aliens have taken human form and killed the humans and threw away my scores. I found them anyway and got a 3.8 gpa (?) and then kill the aliens with a long metal ruler. I try to decide what to do with the aliens in human form who haven't killed anyone. They try to teach me a spell but it's too hard to say. Then I wake up.
