Not adding this one to count since I woke immediately after lucid

    4:29AM - DILD

Some kid was talking about how he ran into the street and attacked a man and killed him in his sleep. I questioned him further and eventually found out that he did it while in a lucid dream. He thought he was dreaming but it really happened in real life. I tell him that is one of my fears. Then I realize the subject and become lucid. I wake immediatly

I look at the clock. 30 min to have another LD.

I have a fear of this, too! Ever since reading about REM behavior disorder I've always had this vague fear that I'll start acting out my dreams. Nothing like that has ever happened to me, or I'd probably be so rattled that I'd screw up my whole LD practice.

Sleep walkers can occasionally be a little dangerous, but generally people that didn't sleepwalk as kids don't do it as adults either. (It's actually a bad sign if sleepwalking starts happening later in life.)

Well that's no comfort. I used to sleep walk as a child while dreaming. I remember one dream where I was trying to open a door but I could not feel the door knob. I woke up on my front porch feeling an exterior wall while holding my pillow! I think I have grown out of it and the occurrence was pretty rare. Still, I think that is were this fear stems from. I mostly just try to ignore it.

Ah, I see! Well I'm sure you've grown out of it. The huge majority of the time sleepwalkers aren't dangerous, and even when they are, it's usually to themselves.

It's really interesting that you would sleep walk while dreaming. My understanding was that sleepwalking occurred during deep sleep and therefore dreaming was unlikely. Any chance that was a false awakening?
