    (Lucid) Dream-roll, please.

Crimney, as the end of October approaches, I'm on a frikkin' roll when it comes to becoming lucid! There's much to be desired on clarity and length, but I'll take what I can get.

This dream marks the saddest dream I can remember having, possibly ever. (Or at least, the saddest I've been within' a dream.) Mainly because it dealt with the death of my Grandmother, who passed in August. No interpretation needed for much of this.

Anyway, I'm on a stretch of country road, this guy is pulled over and we (As cops, looking rather military in nature.) are arresting him for some charges. There are a few people that I don't recognize, just some random dream characters. Strangely, once we get the guy arrested, my grandmother is there, and the guy is... On the dashboard? Not in a gruesome or violent way, he's just... There. Anyway, my Grandmother calls him 'Fu Man Chu' and we both explain the nickname to him. To be honest, he looked more of Hispanic decent than Asian, but whatever, it's a dream.

A basic jump-cut, a doctor says that the blow my Grandmother received from Fu Man Chu broke something or other and would very soon cause her a great deal of pain. I think he actually suggest euthanasia (Though not in those exact words.). My dad goes off to talk to him some more and I'm in some manner of waiting room, which looks to be more for doctors than family members. I notice pictures of various pets and animals (Mainly just a dog though) on a board, then notice a gray cat with long-ish hair and try and get it to come over (Elly, you sneaky sneaky sub.). A guy offers to bring the cat to me as it's just sitting there. I say "Nah, the trick is not to look it in the eyes." (Cat's kinda see that as an aggressive action if you're a stranger.). This goes on for a bit, then the guy comments how "You (The cat) look a bit scruffy, I think you need a brushing.". He walks over to a stack of plastic bins and gets a brush from the top one. I reply jokingly as if he was talking about me "Yeah, I guess my hair is a bit messy."

Cut to a rather strange amalgamation of my previous house and current house. My Grandmother is laying on some kind of combination bed and pool (Ironic, 'cause it's placed where we used to have an actual water bed... Clever Elly.). I check out the pool aspect of it a bit, I close it up and after awhile my dad ads two cream type things to a screw plug. (Yeah, I dunno either.) This kind of starts my Grandmother dying, she's partially in the water. Naturally I'm sad as all hell as stated above, naturally I'm saying things like I love her, don't want to lose her again, etc. Her eyes are gradually getting more closed and, for whatever reason there are whole tomatoes and celery. (Yeah, weird as HELL!) I think the idea was that we were going to make stew out of her?! (What the FUCK!?).

Anyway, I get the heck outta there, crying my eyes out and going towards where the living room would be in the old house. As I'm crying I say to myself "Do a reality check." a couple times. So I do, a plugged nose breathe test (The first of three of my usual RC routine.) and it fails and I become lucid. I look around immediately to look for something to grab (Yay me for remembering to do that.), in this case, it happens to be my computer chair. I make sure to feel the tactile sensations quite vividly, looking at it, calming myself and making things clearer. Once that's done, things are still a bit fuzzy, so I count my fingers on my left hand (12!) and try to vocally clear things up by saying "I want to stay in this dream.". Alas, that dream haze never really leaves. All I managed to do beyond that was look out my kitchen window (The window of my current house.) and see two large military vehicles, camouflage and everything. (Ding! Crap, now I remember my dream before this one!). I say to myself "Wow" and I wake up. Actually, I wake up because my breathing was getting really weird like I needed a puff of asthma medicine. @_@

Not much going on, but at least I managed an LD longer than 3 seconds.
