      Kris9995's Workbook

Hey my name is kris9995. I'm 16 years old and I began having lucid dreams long time ago. I have had much more lucid dreams, than I have recorded. I'm a really calm type, but a little lazy too.. Sometimes in the morning I forget to write my dreams in my dream journal. My recall is pretty much average, because I remember about 1-4 dreams a night. I joined DV about 1 year ago, but i haven't really had much succes. Do you have any advices for me? :p

Thank you for your time and good dreams!

      Hi Kris!

Even if you don't feel like writing in DJ, think of it as another tool, that will get you closer to having lucid dreams, or at least having more vivid dreams. Your recall seems to be good, but there are other benefits to DJing than helping your recall. Thinking about your dreams, getting excited about them and being thankful for them lets our mind know, that we like our dreams and we want to have more of them.

So what technique are you using to induce your lucids? Here is a "checklist" of items that can help you with DILDs.

If you feel like doing DILDs, check it out and see if it will work for you.

I would also recommend you check out the DEILD guide.
It's about re-entering collapsed lucid dream, but it works the same if you wake up from regular dream. I got my first DEILD same night after reading this guide.

So let me know, what you think, or if you have any questions. Will figure it out together. Happy dreams

ah yeah deild.. I have tried that about 5 times.. but it seems like I'm failing that technique pretty often, because I suddenly have to swallow. I don't know why, because I don't have to swallow any other time... :p But a very powerful technique indeed.

I have read your "checklist" and I have some questions:
      1. Do you have to say the mantra out loud, or isn't that necessary?
      2. I remember my dreams well, but do you know any way to improve the vividness of the dream?
      3. Can I stop that problem with deild?

I have an idea that might work for me: Could I use mantras before sleep, wake later in the night(wbtb), stay up for some time and when I'm back in the bed could I visualize a dream?

Thanks for your help and guideness Great dreams

Oh and what does the picture underneath you mean? (Having an OBE back in 10 min?)

In DEILD, you wait, untill you wake up from a dream and you train yourself to not move. You do this by mantras as you falling asleep (when I wake up from a dream I don't move, or someting similar). So when you wake up from a dream and you remembered not to move or even open your eyes, and not thinking about your up coming day, you just lay there and think about your previous dream you just come out of and within just a few seconds (5 - 45), you should be back in a dream, only this time you are Lucid.

If done right (if you didn't wake up too much), then swallowing should not be a problem, because you are still in a half asleep state, not really aware of anything.

Swallowing is usually a problem when WILDing ( trying to induce LD from being awake, most often after WBTB). For WILD technique, I recommend WILD class. It has some cool stuff that applies to other techniques as well.

I usually start with whispering my mantra. That way, you get it from two sources - you think it and you hear it. After I get tired, I just think it.

Vitamine B6 should improve vividness of dreams. But once you are in LD, it's enough to say out loud, with powerfull voice, like you mean it: "Increase vividity", "Incrase clarity", "Clarity now", "Lights"...

Yes, mantras before bed, then wake up for WBTB and either do a WILD (you can visualize here also), or just fall asleep with mantras while visualizing and hope for a DILD. It's best to visualize something, that you are very familiar with - like your childhood room, house, classroom, or something like that. Once you in a dream, you can always change your dreamscape to something else.

This is just a play on sign you sometimes see on the door of a business - out for luch, be back in an hour. So I say I'm having and OBE (out of body experience) right now, will be back in 10 minutes. And the picture is a meditating man with chakras depicted in colors.

If I left something out, please ask. If you know which method you would like to use, please describe what exactly you do and I'll be happy to help you finetune it.
