Hi, I'm 18 as of today. I've been interested in lucid dreaming for a very long time, but just recently I've dedicated myself to finally keep consistent. I've been keeping a dream journal which has already enabled me to remember a lot more details and more dreams, but I'm not very consistent with reality checks. I have however been doing reverse reality checks like Sageous recommends in his WILD course, and those have already seem to be boosting my awareness throughout the day. |

I managed to remember 4 dreams last night! I fell asleep to the mantra "I will wake up after each dream" and it worked. I woke up first after 3 hours, then 4.5, 6, then 7.5. After 6 though I heard my alarm going off in my dream so I tried to wake up. I woke into a false awakening, I could tell because my clock was illegible. I plugged my nose to make sure and I was lucid. I rolled out of bed and fell into water, the experience of which was so realistic and breathtaking that I lost lucidity. I'll be writing these out in more detail in my dream journal. |

Awesome job waking up to mantra and remembering your dreams! |

Yeah, it was pretty crazy. I remembered how expectation basically runs dreams, so I rolled out of bed and expected to land in water. The feeling was weird, because I felt weightless for a few seconds before slowly being enveloped in water. I think this was just part of how gravity isn't quite right in dreams and how my subconscious didn't have much time to react to my expectation, as I thought of water AS I was falling out of bed. I wasn't fully aware after I had rolled out of bed into the pool, though- I didn't really think about how it was all in my head. I need to work on anchoring my dreams more so that I can really realize the full weight of the lucid dreaming state. This was my first lucid dream for around a year, which is awesome. I didn't realize that they would start to happen so quickly after beginning! It's quite the rush. |
