For two nights (Not together) I have dreamt while in a dream, unintentionally and subsequently become lucid in these 2nd dreams, not realising that the dream outside is also a dream...which has been rather annoying. I even check my hands in these dreams and realise I have e.g. 8 fingers and last night I tried to stabilise it by focusing on my hands. In these lucid dreams however I haven't been able to manipulate anything, failing if anything by trying to. Its like non lucid dream -> dream in there, lucid -> come out of dream -> back to non lucid dream |

i've only experienced this once, but it was rather annoying once i woke up and realized i could have been lucid dreaming the entire time (and not just the dream within the dream). |

These are called false awakenings. It's your mind's way of trying to trick you into thinking you've woken up because it doesn't want you to be lucid. To combat this, do a couple reality checks every time you think you've woken up. |

It's a false awakening. It happens a lot to some people. Try doing a reality checks when you wakeup. |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
