      Problems with lucidity

Hi, haven't been lucid dreaming for too long. Started in early jan so it's been about 20 days since I first put an entry into my dream journal diary thing. So far i've had 6 lucid dreams with the mild/dild technique. Been using auto suggestion and lucid dreaming 3.0 subliminal on two occasions, for 15mins, both having lucid dreams (100% hit rate with subliminals so far)

So yes, last night is a prime example of my problem:

I wanted to LD last night, I was really psyched and wanted to fly using wings, so i could start ticking off my goals. I listened to sub audio 3.0 for 15mins and went to bed.

I woke up in the middle of the night and went back to sleep. Finally, I got lucid.
I was in my house. Looked at my hands, as I was standing, and saw that I had an irregular amount of fingers. Problem is, I heard my Dad snoring. The thing is, I think it was my real Dad snoring, as when I woke up, my dad was snoring.

Anyway, along with this, when i got lucid, i tried to control my dream.
I looked at my hands as learnt and said 'stabilise lucididty now' but not much happened.
I also said 'increase clarity now'
      and 'anchored in lucidity'
BUT i think i was deaf, I dont remember hearing anything other than snoring while being lucid. It also semt more 3rd person than 1st person. Along with this, my hair was ALWAYS in my eyes, and I had to keep moving it to the side with my hand. My hair is long, but it never really creeps over my eyes.

Anyway yeah, I basically couldnt control it well enough. I really need help with this. I feel half lucid half awake, its 3rd person, and I cant manipulate very well.
      Little help?
      Thanks.

how close is your dad to you lol? we can still hear the real world while we dream but he must have been seriously snoring. usually shouting things out helps with lucidity, but if it dosent take a look around, notice details, maybe focus on one thing, and touching things to feel them helps, just try to use your senses to get grounded. as for your hair ive never had this happen, but try to look through it, make it invisible, shave it off (in the dream, not real life), or just dont pay any attention to it and it will go away (might be kinda hard to do that though). and a tip for growing wings, i could never do it untill i read what someone said on the forum, but i forgot who, just look at your shadow and watch it grow wings, when you look up you'll have them too.

maybe so. hes like 10-20 metres away lol
thank you for the shadow tip. Hopefully that'll help. my original thought was make them emit from my shoulders and hulk it out lol
I think i performed a 'DEILD' last night, maybe that's why.
I'll make sure to touch more next time
      thanks

you have to visualize clarity and expect it to happen beyond any doubt . try and think about everything you are about to do ( im going to walk to the door, im going to open it and behind it will be ..) then do it without thinking. when ever i want to turn on lights or make it daylight just think about daytime and how clear everything is, and I spin around and usually that works.. could just stand on top of a building and imagine a bird flying and put emphasis on the wings and jump off and pull out your arms and expect wings. never used wings but thats how i would go about it.
