Control from normal dreams to lucid ones

The other day i was having a dream where a few people across the globe got these weird powers and mine was that i could run really fast and jump high if i made this panther roar noise thing. Anyways i have been having some issues with control and was wondering that if i did the panther roar thing in a lucid dream that it might work the same way and my brain might sort of carry over the effects that the noise had had from my old dream to my lucid one. And on a broader note if you do something in a normal dream will that make it easier to do in a lucid dream?

If you are lucid in a dream you can literally do anything. You can raise and lower continents with a thought. Create cities. And yes, roar like a panther and fly, will it be easier in LD because you've dreamed it before? Yes. You're mind has already built the situation subconsciously, so unless you have some subconscious block in place it shouldn't be a problem for you. By the way, you don't have to do the roar thing to fly in LD, unless you enjoy doing it and it's fun, then hey man, have fun!

Yes, the odds are good that doing the same roar from your non-lucid would work the same (more or less) in your lucid dream. What you are doing is creating an archetype, or forging a link between the roar and the ability. The more you reinforce that link, the more reliable it will become.
