Hi everyone,

I was wondering how many reality checks does everyone do?
And what exactly do you do and think?

Before, I had tried for over a year to get a LD, only to fail.

Then I talked to someone, and they were stressing to me the importance of RC.

So then I took their advice, and within a week, I had my first Lucid Dream.

I became sick one day (something else) and stopped doing RC's. I had no more lucid dreams for a while.

Then I started RCs again. I'm having a lot of small Lucid dreams now. lol
But before my first LD, I did RCs like MAD.

Okay so I wake up at 6:30 to go to school.

I glance at my clock and remember the time. I say to myself, "I need to practice reality checks because this could be a dream right now. Is this a dream?"

I glance at the clock three times. And then I say, "I need to do reality checks because my dream world and my reality looks the same. I could be confused easily."

I glance around the room. I ask, "Is there anything wrong?"
*What's that black spot in the corner?
*Just mold.
*How did that pencil get there?
*I put that there yesterday

I poke my hand with my finger and do it several times.

I then say, "I'm awake."

I also say, "If this was a lucid dream, my finger would have went through my hand, and the time would have changed. If this was a lucid dream, I would..."

And due to the fact that my thoughts are private I'm not going to share it.
But I imagine what I would do, and what or who I would imagine around the corner. etc.

And during each class period. At the height of my lucid dreamings, (when I had the longest, and first dream) I did a lot of Rc's.

I used the clock, and looked away and looked back.

I do about 5 reality checks each hour. And I'm sure I did a lot more than that...

I tried even reality checking during PE, by examinning my environment.

Anyways,

I need to learn new techniques.
