Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

      Hi all,

I had this experience the other day.
I tend to have these experiences alot and only rarely do I actually lucid dream, but whilst waiting many things happen.

Here is what happened the other day:-

I was laying in bed and my dream/astral body moved sideways across the bed and got pushed out of the bed.
I remember seeing an aquarium, but then came back and woke up.
I relaxed as I was still in the right state of mind.
This time, more aware, I could feel someone’s hands pushing my back as they pushed by astral body off the bed.
I found this amusing and once again found myself back in my physical body.
It started to happen again, and I tried to turn my dream/astral sight to see if I could see who was doing this, but all I could see was a human shadow and no details.
They pushed me off the bed again, and even though it did not go any further that was the last experience of the night/morning.

Any one else have any experiences like this?

The other day, my legs started floating into the air as did my whole body, but I was still attached by my head. I realised I had to go deeper and in doing so a black fuzzy mass filled my vision, and then a room materialised in front of my vision. At his point I knew my head had also dissconnected from my physical.

      What is this?

      Many thanks...

      Heh heh, funny. ^_^
No, frankly, I have never experienced anything like it. I would say hypnagogic imagery. err, sleep paralysis?
'The petals dance through the wind,
The crimson blood shimmers on the snow,
The shattered heart weeps of hidden sorrow.
And over a pure white sky,
      rises a black moon.'

A few times during SP I have slid off my bed. Well, not for real, but I have hallucinated it. Sounds pretty much exactly like your experience but without the entity pushing me.

Sounds like the start of an OOBE. With practice you can separate the whole self and explore. OOBE are way better than lucid dreams (LDs) but harder (for me at least) to achieve. And yes the head seems to "stick" more than anything and the legs come out easiest.

      Caden,
Probably correct with that one. I can never seem to keep it stable enough to get anything done with it.
      Any ideas?

It seems that the people who just keep trying at it finally are just like "whatever happens happens" and thats when you let go, figuratively and literally. I'm pretty sure the stickiness is you not letting go, you probably don't feel quite comfortable with this process yet.

Also I would try turning and rolling, that sometimes this works.

Sometimes asking others to help you get out works. People say they feel hands pulling on them. If they are OK with that it can really help, if they get creeped out by it then it's a step back. I would specifically ask "friendly people" to help you.

There is a good amount of material on this as it is a regular problem in the early stages. I'm sure you'll do fine if you try some of these techniques though.

Actually, it sounds a lot like you had a FA along with SP in a dream. I have had it too, where I have a FA and a shadow thingy is stalking me and it is hard to move, generally, I focus on moving one part of my body at a time and ignore completely the shadow, once I'm out of the bed, start eating them.
