I need as many tips as I can get for learning good dream control. I'm very new to Lucid Dreaming, and I don't know exactly how you control stuff in the dream...I can control VERY small aspects in a dream. In the last dream I can remember having, I went to a public restroom. I imagined and wanted the bathroom to be VERY high tech, and when I walked in, it was. |

Dream control is all about belief! I mean sure good Dream Control does take a bit of practice but it is all about belief! How do you expect to fly if you don't believe that you can? Exactly! If you want to do something you gotta believe that you can! Plus you can also use tools in a Lucid Dream to do what you want. For instance: say you wanted to fight some ninjas. You could go up to a Dream Character and say " dude why the heck are you standing there?! There are ninjas coming!!" and the. Ninjas would come attacking. But that's not the only way to control like that, get creative! Imagine the object/person will be in the next room. There are lots of ways! Also keep in mind, it's your brain, your dream, your world. You are the master of your dreams and you're only limited by your imagination!! |

Thank you Jarrhead! I read and re-read both of those threads and I think I fully understand both of them. Tomorrow morning, I'll research schemata a bit more, and tonight if I have a Lucid Dream, I'll attempt to make a play at using emotions in my dreams. I never would have thought to use fear to draw a DC closer. That may come in handy when I'm attempting to reach my goal of becoming Death in a dream. |
