      Clear Vision Technique

While I was on holiday, for some reason or another, I did something which I wouldnt normally think of in a dream because it's very simple, I closed 1 ''eye''.

The amazing thing is, it made my vision in the dream alot clearer. Then it lead me to realise that maybe my lucid dreams go blurry because my ''eyes'' are trying to focus on something...when obviously I'm not using my eye's to see.

When I was a kid in a sweet shop I would close one eye and point at the sweet's I wanted because with both eye's open my finger seemed a little blurred.

It seems strange when I try to explain it but it makes alot of sense to me. I just wanted to see if anyone here would try it and give feedback on whether it works for them or not.

      Task: Close one eye

It sounds interesting. I haven't done this myself in a dream, lucid or non-lucid, but I'd imagine it would work if I expect it to work. If you fully expect it to be the case in a dream, then it probably will be.

Makes sense. with one eye in real life you don't have the conflict from the diffrent viewing angles from both eyes causing the change in focus, so your mind is probably emulating that in your dreams.

      Interesting
I'll try this sometime, but the thing with LDing is you don't need eyes, you can just simply think that there is no reason for things to be foggy.

Hey mate, I just woke up from a lucid dream, and i actually tried this, here is how it went:

I was inside a building when i realized that i was dreaming, then when i went outside, it was sunset, i remembered to do your method, it didn't work, so i switched eyes, and i realized then i was wearing sunglasses, so i took them off, but the vision was much worse, then when i tried your method again, It actually made the dream more clearer!

When i LD, most of them got a fuzzy vision like the game Amnesia, so it's pretty annoying. I'll be trying it again tonight

      Thanks!,
