Recently I've been having trouble with keeping my lucid dreams stable. In the past week or two i've had roughly 6-7 lucids, and most have been really short lived.

Once I'm lucid I start to stabilise as best I can - the same ways that have worked very well in the past. Rubbing my hands/walls, using my senses sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, and remembering and focusing on my goals. But it seems lately that my stabilisation has little effect on the nature of the dream.

I have quite an odd feeling associated with lucid dreaming most of the time, a sort of top heavy feeling - as though most of my weight is in my head and I can't balance properly. This goes away once the dream is stable but has led to me falling over and waking up recently.

I'm not sure if it's my stabilisation or just that my dreams have been short recently. I'm definitely aiming to have a long lucid soon - I think all the short ones should be building up to something somewhat epic. Any help in stabilising or getting rid of this weird off balance sluggishness would be excellent, or if anyone else feels the same thing post here
