      Why cant I change the scenario in my lucid dreams (MILD)

      I cant seem to change the scenario that I am in. Last night I had a lucid, I woke up in bed like usual did a RC and I was dreaming tried flying in the garden didn't work then tried changing the scenario didn't work either so then I got bored and went and told my dad I was dreaming he said I know lol. So please help me with this

      You just need practice. Dream control is by no means easy.
      Work at it, and eventually you'll get it

      You can. You just do not have the right mindset. You have to KNOW that you can fly. The dream you are in is created by YOUR brain. Now all you have to do is remember that.

      If you want to change the dream scenario use the "behind closed doors" method. Go to a door and think of what you want there to be on the other side. And know it will be there.

      Also try imagining what it looks like. Not that it will be there, just picture in your mind.
