First and foremost dreams will always be in real time. However, this does not stop the dreamer from making time appear to move forward faster. |

What if one was to try and.. warp one's sense of time. It may sound silly but try and think about it - If in a lucid dream, one comes to complete control - being able to do all the different things, fly, explode stuff, 'magic' and so on. Why shouldn't one then be able to 'slow down timeflow'. Meaning, why shouldn't one be able to make a lucid dream feel 5 hours long instead of 30 minutes? Just throwing it out there, I'm sure someone else has thought of this before though |

You could, it's called time dilation. There was a post a few months back about somebody who could apparetly make his dreams last 2 years in dream time, but the usual 30-45 minutes REM cycle in waking time. I, personally, am very skeptical about it but it could be possible. However, it takes incredibly fine-tuned dream control and i have a feeling the dream would become extremely unstable as it went on, to a point where if you try to fly or even just summon an item or person, the dream could fade. |

I agree, it seems extremely impossible, but that just makes it even more interesting if it is in any way possible. I was just thinking that the really good lucid dreamers might give it a shot - make it a goal to expand their dream to 2 hours or something |

I just had a dream last night about being immortal. I swear, I lived for 50 years or more, hatching complex illuminati-like schemes. It is all about just focusing on the key events, and implanting false memories to cover the rest. |

I have had one dream that seemed like it lasted a month, for real. I became best friends with this DC and he ended up dying. I wasn't lucid though and when I woke up it took me a couple day to get over it. |

I think it could be done easly beacuse think of it like this the humand brain process time diffrenty depending on the person like when your in school a test feels like it takes forever or when your playing a video game and hours have past when it feels like minets beacuse the game really is fun or even on normal days peaple say mondays are slow. Time is all in your head knows one feels it the same einstein proved it when he descoverd time was realative in special relativity and this is when you follow the real world laws but in dreams you dont have to so if in reality you can do it in dreams you know you can do it . It just a nother power you have to learn how to use like dream controle if anyone wants to practice this or has somthing to say about this post pm me and we could both try or talk about it |
