Thread: how do you change night to day?

Heh, the formula is a little less a "daytime" formula and more a "universal dream control" formula. The calculator itself wasn't how I got things done. XP

I read your Archetype Control tutorial. It all makes more sense, now. Really thinking about schema has just helped me solve a problem I've been having in my LD's. I would open a wormhole portal to get to a specific place, however, I had little to no control of what was on the other side even though I believed I could. I guess my previous schema for wormholes would be that you can't control whats on the other side, so my dream reflects that.

Going by the nature that in a dream you can do anything because all you have to do is dream it. Then any method you use should work because you are dreaming that method. Do anything that represents the factor that brings the change of night to day.

After reading that my brain is so full of fuck I can barely form words anymore. It's like some mishmash of poorly wrought rhetoric looped about itself in a circle of confusion and meaninglessness.

And even when I manage to wade through it all and see that you're just trying to copy the (rather wrong) ideas of those who've posts you've read here and then extrapolate a somewhat accurate (if not wholly correct) conclusion (which itself consists of previously conceived ideas) from those ill-conceived premises, I still end up hating humanity a little bit more.

I am sorry guys, maybe the first part made it a bit harder, I meant going by the "nature of dreams" . That you can do anything in them.

Annoyingly enough whenever I become lucid the first thing I do instinctively is to change the sky from night to day (no idea why it's always dark when I become lucid) - simply waving your hand across the air and making the darkness of night follow the direction of your hand works for me.

A dream character once told me it's not the look that changes the landscape, but the feel. Perhaps you could have been focusing on the scenery too much rather than imagining it changing into day?
