Last night I had an absolute buttload of lucids, one of which I am pretty sure was a DEILD, and something strange occurred at two separate points.
In the first lucid, things weren't very clear and the location was quite boring so I dove directly into the ground because in the past this has been a handy reset tool, and experiencing the weird void in between dreams completely fascinates me. Upon diving I experienced a sort of black nothingness with a sort of gray... luminescence swirling around. Something came to mind from things I had read about Astral Projection, that in this state it is helpful to try to wiggle and twist your hands around because it helps 'tune in' the place you're trying to go and bring you into it more clearly. When I tried doing this, though, it felt weird as hell and my hands were very uncooperative, and I woke up to find I was actually moving my REAL hands in bed, and I was laying sort of weird so they were obstructed.
Then, in I think the middle of the second one, a little later, I was walking across this backyard grass area, and I wanted to fly but I couldn't lift my arms up, and it started to feel like I had on a straightjacket or something, so I thought, "When I stretch again this stupid shirt is going to break off," and I flexed hard against whatever was binding me, and I had this utterly bizarre moment of like... it felt like I was slipping halfway back into waking life, and I realized the thing that was binding me was my BLANKET wrapped very tightly around my shoulders as I slept, and when I flexed I was actually flexing in real life?? I stopped trying to do that and slipped back into the dream but it was miserably unstable, so I dove into the floor again and this is when I think I may have DEILD'd because I again felt that void and felt like I was waking up, but at the same time felt that lockdown SP feeling, and held still within it and came back into a really unstable, somewhat freaky dream (it was a dinner party of some kind, there were voices and muttering like people conversing and the sounds of glasses and dishes, but when I looked at the people they were just like dummies, they had balloons for heads that didn't move and had sharpie faces drawn on. Creepy.)
The last lucid I had later didn't have these problems, but was quite weird in its own right. I've never had anything like this happen before. What happened?
