Well, you may kind of be bound by physics causing you to not have your expected experience. Look carefully at your hands when you become lucid, that's the key here. Do a reality check so you can feel the effect of being lucid. Start off by walking, then jogging and eventually, running. When you've mastered these simple moves, you're ready to start jumping. I imagine a little rop like 20cm above the ground that I have to jump over and make it go higher and higher. When you feel ready, tell yourself that gravity won't effect you the next time you jump and lift off. If this still doesn't work, you can summon a jetpack or attach wings to your shoulder blades - I think these techniques are called passive control, they make it easier for you to do something. Of course, there are always those people we're jealous of that can just fall off a cliff and start flying, but some people need the extra practice and confidence.
While trying to do a kamehameha, I follow energy projection techniques that Gohan showed Videl. Summon energy from your stomach, and gently spread it out to your hands in more than one breath. You may feel an awkward sensation at this point in your hands, and that's when you should cup your hands together and, you know the drill, ka-me-ha-me-ha. When shooting the ball of energy, you need to really believe that this is going to be painful. After all, lucid dream control is controlled by your mind's expectations of what's going to happen. Good luck!
