      Stabilizing by Summoning Food

This is a new technique I'm developing. This is probably for an intermediate to advanced lucid dreamer.

To stabilize a lucid dream, summon something, especially something you can eat. This simple action combines many stabilization techniques into one seamless and easy-to-remember action. It goes like this:

      1. Choose a food item that is familiar to you, both in appearance and taste. I chose a sandwich.
      2. Look at your hands (known stab. tech.). Position them how you would hold the chosen food item.
      3. Concentrate and visualize (known stab. tech.) the item materializing in your hand.
      4. If you aren't successful in summoning the item, you may need more dream control practice. If you succeed, continue.
      5. Feel the item. Notice it's texture and weight. (known stab. tech.)
      6. Take a bite! Notice the taste (known stab. tech.) and savor the satisfaction.
      7. You should experience satisfaction, stability, and increased vividness. Go start your lucid dream adventure!

So you see, this little routine puts together several known techniques into a logical narrative rather than a series of disconnected actions. It engages your memory, concentration, dream control, and senses, while leveraging familiar objects and actions. It's probably best to choose a food item that you can hold and eat with your hands (sandwich, burger, burrito, fruit, drumstick, ice cream cone, etc.), or something that fits into a small bowl that you hold with one hand and use a spoon for the other (ice cream, soup, porridge, etc).
I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.

This sounds like a really good idea, especially because people in general love food. I'll see if I can remember to try this out, but I tend to forget about everything I want to do when I become lucid.
