      Limited range of vision

I'm posting about something that has always really bugged me.

Well, on any given night, I can be exploring a lucid dream, flying around, chatting with dream characters, and just enjoying myself. When I wake up, I'm just thinking "OK, let's write this in my dream journal, now," but when I commence writing it suddenly occurs to me that I have absolutely no idea what was behind me the entire time.

This may seem really absurd (I know, I could just look backwards, right?), but I want to increase my field of vision so I can see everything. Has anyone ever successfully done so or done something similar to that?

You mean that you couldn't see the background?
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

360 degree vision has been talked about before, but I don't know anyone who has succeeded with it. I haven't bothered to try it, but I just had an idea on how you might be able to do it.

Have you ever played a two player video game on split screen? Perhaps you could give yourself a sort of split screen vision. The top half of your field of vision or "screen" would show what's in front of you. The bottom half would show what's behind you. I might try to do this some time just for fun.

I have done it, and I'm pretty sure many other members have too. Infact my first lucid had something which resembled 360 vision. To induce it I usually have to walk through a portal expecting to become omnipotent or omnipresent and gain 360 vision, I don't know how it works but it just seems to happen and I can see everywhere (except under me sometimes). It's quite an experience because you can focus on anything you want all around you.

You can try different things to achieve your 360 vision. See yourself above your dream body and see everything at once. Another way is not to depend with your eyes in the dream to see. Imagine you can see with your mind in all directions. Like your are psychic. Both work for me. Let me know if it worked for you. Good Luck
