      "Dream Inventory"

I was thinking about this... let's say you decide to start collecting mementos, items and tools and such, from your LDs and you had a chest or rack of shelves you could conjure. You could physically put these items in the chest/ on a shelf in the dream with some ease. When you wake up, you write down or even draw what you took and update you chest inventory. Study this a little, memorise what you've put in (or taken out), and is there a chance you could have a persistent and mostly up to date inventory on you for future dreams? I know there may not be much use when you can conjure up almost anything you want, but looking in the box and seeing things you may have forgotten about otherwise could be useful, inspirational or yknow, just fun and cool.

I'm sure it is technically possible, but I'm mostly wondering if there is anybody who has done something like this or experienced enough and willing to give it a go and share the results?

btw i didn't know what section to put this in, sorry

That is an outstanding idea, G.U., and seems eminently doable, if a bit difficult to start out.

I've never done it myself, but only because t never occurred to me to do so! Now that you've spilled the beans, I'm going to give it a shot; a tool like this would be extremely useful on a couple of levels, I think.

Great! I'm excited to hear how it works out for you! I do hope to try it myself eventually.

That's pretty nice idea, and definitely possible, haven't done it personally but it sounds like pretty much persistent dreamworld but on much lesser scale.
