I just have another bit of advice to add to whats already been said:

Dont always be so sure that the dream has completely ended. Sometimes it can fool you into tginking its over and things will just go black.

Next time you think the dream has ended, try not to open your eyes or move. Just relax and chill out and look for another dream scene to start to form.

I used to have the same problem. One night when the dream went dark, I pretended I had a pair if "dream goggles" on my forehead and pulled them down, and bam! I could see the dream again.

When the dream tries to trick you, trick it back.
