      Need to sleep lighter

      Im sleeping deep. And i mean DEEP. This causes my dreams to be wierd. I just dont think normally. Its like every dream is like watching through a foggy window. Its like im a new person in my dreams. And a dumb one.
      So how do i sleep lighter? I really need a way!

      If you don't intentionally choose to sleep deep, do you think you can choose to sleep lighter?

      Pretty sure the only way is have something environmental disturb you so you can't fall asleep deeply. Not ideal, don't bother. Deep sleep is important for lucid dreaming so you go through the stages. No level of sleeping will make dream content weird, thats just your subconscious.

      You need to work on your dream recall. As your recall increases, it should become less foggy.

      Dreams are weird, I would be surprised if they were not.

      are you always stress? since stress can also cause deep sleep and the moment you wake up its already morning.

      Yes, I've always been a very deep sleeper and when I started to LD my dreams were all really fuzzy and I had poor recall. If you practise you can increase recall and awareness and this will in turn make your dreams more clear. I used to remember only one dream a night and not at all well. Now I can remember 3-4 dreams almost every night with good clarity. The key is practise and confidence; I found that my first LD helped a lot.

      in my case I get to sleep deep when I am so tired or after reading books that can make me feel sleepy and dizzy.
