Thread: Lucid Dreaming Abilities

Do you use any specific techniques for LDs? Your list of abilities is impressive!

I used to record my dreams every day and use Will induced lucid dreams but now I tend to have certain markers that point out that I'm in a dream, like the face of an old friend of mine.

In my LDs i'm omnipotent
My favorite ability is Pyrokinesis

I just love teleporting

Holy shit it's been so long since I've posted here! O_O

Even though the number and quality of my LDs diminished to nearly nothingness since the time I used to hang around here, I'll list the stuff I did in my dreams:

Flight: no explanation needed.
Wall Climbing: think spiderman.
High Jumping: jumping really really high for when I cannot fly.
Super Strength: lifting cars and bending steel.
Teleportation: short range teleportation to a location within line of sight.
Telekinesis: you know, moving stuff with my mind. A relatively recent "power" of mine.
Summoning: I usually can only summon small things from my pockets, like car keys
mind Control: willing other people to do simple actions such as moving around. Also I've memory-wiped a bunch of people one time
Time Slow/Stop: did it only a few times, not often
Phasing: as in, passing through solid objects. Works on closed doors, glass, bars and other stuff like that, usually not on solid walls
Gravity Reversal: pulled that off a couple of times (to complete a lucid task in this forum, I "fell" into the sky)
Cloning: creating clones of myself, done this only twice
Water Running: running on water like Naruto or Jesus
Durability: I am usually bullet-proof and can't be harmed by anything. Once I've been attacked by some kind of acid that melted my body, but then I got pissed off and my body regenerated.
Face Chanbge: only once, I've been capable of altering the appearance of my face by using a mirror.

I'm sure there are others I'm missing, but these are the main ones.

wicked what's the best thing of these ?

Personally I like the superstrength, and of course, like everyone else I also like flying. I also liked cloning myself because it's such a challenge and I managed to stand up to it.

I think the best would be Adhesion, or wall-crawling as you put it

I think pyrokinesis is the best dream skill. Who doesn't like burning stuff?

Pyrofan1 guess I've read like 10 times at different topics that you like pyrokinesis ^^. =D, gonna try it as soon as I figure how to get a bit longer lucids

It's weird I don't enjoy flying in my dreams, It's just too boring

cloning huh? naruto sure has all sorts of stuff that would be fun in any dream. I gotta try cloning now, and wall walking!

most recently in lucid dreams I used shurikens *is that how you spell them?* and was actually able to handle them like a ninja. I worked on transformations into something fantastical, and was able to feel the wings on my back, but my reflection never showed what I wanted. I also spent some time in lucid dreams lately working on sensory - like being able to feel the branhes as I run through them rather than feeling nothing. Or feeling the force of the wind as I jump from a plane and dive into an ocean.

Flying without being able to feel the wind, is boring!

And lastly I worked on psychokinesis. I'm still shaky with psychokinesis in dreams so each time I try to find a new method to make it work the best. Last time I imagined a string of enery coming out of my palm attaching itself onto the object, then I was able to move it as I pleased. My psychokinesis doesn't always work on DCs though, only half the time! buh! But maybe its becuase I dont find psychokinesis on DCs as exciting as fighting them like a ninja *dattebayo!*

Just to share one right now which I think I have done before, if I am not mistaken about the experience. It is not actually an ability I can do at will. I don't think I can duplicate it at will. It happened accidentally:
- experiencing dual (or more than just 2) consciousness. Eg: Having 2 (or more) of "you" and experiencing the consciousness of 2 (or more) individual minds. The other "you" need not be human. It can be an inanimate object.

You only had 6 LDs and can do all this stuff? Astonishing talent, i had about the same number and can't do much.

everyone is different I suppose

Not much, considering the number of LDs I've had...

Flying
Super quickness (think that little guy in the incredibles)
Summoning people I know out of nowhere
Making a landscape and then sitting in it


That's it... in about 12 LDs... ah well

My Abilities:

Flying
Super speed
low gravity-jumping high/slow down falling ect
super strength
shape shift

I don't know exactly how much of abilities I had during LDs, some of them I can't remember.

Flying, of course. (with feeling the wind)
Walking through walls.
Deus ex machina - changing the scene.
Seeing behind the corner without walking.
Making objects and persons to appear.
Changing colours.
Stop the time.
Changing resolution - making the view sharper.
Shifting into another person.
Talking in another language (is this an ability?)
Breathing underwater.
Teleporting.
Tasting food and drinks. (one universal taste)
And so on...

so far Ive had 3 lucid dreams but couldn't really do much but I did do a magneto type move where I made a car rise in the air and fly off into space

I've got three this morning.

I don't think my list is very impress but... here's what I've done

Flying
Breathing underwater
Changing the scene
Magic (energy balls, fire, etc.)
Some freaky ninja abilities (haven't done in a while, not really original, Naruto based stuff)
Making people appear just 'round yonder
Change scenes
Change my appearance
Kung fu fighting (does that count?)

Nothing too special, though it's be so cool if I ever mastered transformation and/or teleporting

I sort of did a few transformations, some years ago. It was nothing special nor fun.

I've only had 4 LD's, but I have two extremely situational abilities:

Summoning - I can summon objects, but my control is very limited. I've passively summoned a Warpstar, and made a few mini-trampolines appear on purpose.
Time traveling - I went back to the beginning of my most recent LD, "playing" through it a second time, with very different results.

But the abilities you guys have sound really cool, especially the Naruto stuff.

Maybe if I memorize the hand signs and do them in a LD...
