      Strange conditions in lucid dreams

I had three fun lucid dreams last night, but they would have been much better without all the weird stuff that kept happening. My peripheral vision disappeared, my neck got stiff, my eyes got crossed, my legs moved too slowly...

Is there a reason for this, and does anybody know a good way to counter it?

Sounds like a Lucid Dream, but with a Lack of Control. In most Lucid dream you will move like you do in real life and everything will be easy. Sometimes your motor skills will take a severe blow and it will be hard to move. Sometimes you will be able to move really well, but everything will be hazy and not very clear. These are just various scenarios that happen while you are dreaming. It's just something that happens. As for countering it there are many tips like concentrating on something, rubbing hands, shouting commands, etc. That may assist you with the problem.

Thanks! I grabbed a handful of mulch in my latest lucid dream, and was able to cure a stiff neck. Also, I imagined a pill that would increase my lucidity and ate it. That helped a lot too.

Maybe the stiff neck is caused by you position when you fall asleep? Sometimes things like that get to me; it's usually I can't see out of one eye because it pressed against my pillow. The hand rubbing, and quick spins work wonders.

i had my second lucid dream yesterday but i had virtually no control whatsoever. ill tell you some of what happened. i had been locked in my bathroom and as i was looking into the mirror i thought hey this might be a dream so i did the nose rc and i became lucid. i went for the wall, felt its texture and looked at it to increase clarity then

-i tried to get out by spinning and saying dream change -nothing
-i tried spinning and thinking i want to meet my dreamguide - nothing
      - i tried walking through the wall, genuinely expecting to go straight through - it was sold
      - i tried the same with the mirror with the same result
-a man with a gun appeared at the window i faced him and told him to go away and it was my dream but nothing happened

does anyone know why this happened and do you have any suggestions on what i oculd do if it happens again?

the candle sounds good ill try it if i can find one in my next lucid!

Confidence could help. Thankfully, I haven't really had any strange conditions in lucid dreams, other than I can't run fast, which happens all the time.
