I fly quite a lot in my DILD's and it's usually as a response to being chased. Perhaps if you wanted to experience flying more regularly then you could use being chased as your trigger for lucidity. It's gotta be worth a shot right? |

Things are not as they seem
I read on a tutorial that it is hard to stay lucid the higher you fly. Anyone else have that problem? |

When I dream, theres always a
little girl playing in the dirt, that
turns to me and says "Why are
you here? .... Are you blind like
me?"
What I've found
What I've known
Never shined to me what I've shown
Never be
Never free
I wish to see what might have been...
...So I talk to you unbeliever.
I walk in the rain. 1111
I fly just by jumping, but more like the "Incredible Hulk" kind of thing, because you still feel the force of gravity, so it's a bit like a roller coaster |

I had a semi-lucid a few days ago... I jumped into the air really high, did it again, then to fly I sort of did the worm in midair... |

I can be a Lucid Master... In my dreams.

I have a lot of trouble flying. Whenever i try, i end up falling flat on my face. I dont know if I try too hard or what.. i dunno. |
|
Tuesday night I was able to fly for the first time. all i did was jump backwards and i started to go up. like i was swiming in invisible water. before i went to bed i listened to the Subliminal.mp4 and told my self repeatly that i will control my dream. |
|
when i fly, usually i just stand there and lift off the ground, like someone has a wire around my waist, or im a balloon or something. i find that if i jump in the air usually, i just fall back down, but because in real life i cant just rise into the air, i dont expect myself to fall to the ground. |
|
flying in ld for me is really natural. |
|
LOL, it has been so long since I have visited an LDing forum, and it is funny to me reading all of the stuff about how different people have different abilities for flying in their dreams. I love it. |
|
LOL never tried fireballs. I have transformed into a dragon though. Didn't try blowing fire. You have given me a goal for tonight... Maybe I'll go for a triple play: Flying as a dragon, while shooting or spitting fireballs. Hardcore. |

I had my first ludic last night after about a week of trying. My first thought was to fly. It worked perfectly, although I was inside so I was restricted. It didn't occurr to me to go outside, I was still amused with my friends reaction when I told her I was dreaming, hilarious. After that I tried going somewhere else but had a false awakening Still.. good start |
|
It has taken a lot of practice, but I have been able to fly anyway I want to since the age of 7, when my mother first taught me the beginning steps of flying (my dream version of her). She told me that you lay on your back and look at the sky. And by lay, I don't mean on a surface. You should lean back until you don't have balance to stand and then just pick up your legs and float off. If you've never done it before, try not going above 10 feet and keep slow. You want to build control and learn how to stop, make turns, levitate in one specific place etc. Then you can get faster. I have gone into space and been to the moon before. I have the ability to go from 0 to thousands of miles an hour and stop instantly, or make right angle turns etc. like a UFO. |

I can. I'll tell you how to do it. Traditional Japanese Chi-Gung exercises and meditation say that you can form a chi-ball, or energy ball by holding your hands about 6 inches apart and envision energy from your environment come from the ground and the air, (ground energy moves through the legs up the spine and out your forehead, or third eye. Air energy moves through the top of the head and out the third eye also.) and form a ball of energy in b/w your cupped hands, as though you are in Dragon Ball Z doing a Hamekame or whatever its called. I learned this practicing martial arts, so I took this idea to sleep w/ me one night and practiced it. It worked for me, so you could try it. |

I jump or skip and run for a head start, then if I think about flying a short distance I will not go too far and land on my feet again. If I think of going farther, I won't land for quite a bit. Sometimes I just jump and find myself in a sitting position like on a chair and fly at the same time. When I picture myself landing or desire to land somewhere particular, I land gracefully. |
|
I just put my arms out to the side and push down, which gets me slightly airborne, but I rarely get above 10 or 20 feet in altitude nowadays. |
|
i just will muself to fly... |
|
Am I crazy?
I have trouble flying myself. Sometimes I can do it with ease, and I can always jump as high as I want, but whenever I try to fly I just end up jumping real high from place to place. |
|
I haven't been very successful yet but this is what I've done so far: |
|
It's really not very hard at all, |
|
Brothers & Sisters in Dreams
I used to only be able to fly by pointing my hands straight up and flying like an airplane kinda. |
|
I am yet to fly in a lucid... |
|
There is no real-life, there is only AFK.
I was having some kind of competition last night, where we had to climb onto a large stone wall, do something inside, and then go back to the starting point just outside. My opponent was already down, but I was still up there. I jumped, but was going too slow. Then I changed into a fireball (Or I was shooting fire from my feet to accelerate) and blasted towards my target at high speed. I wasn't going up, but it was sort of flying. |
