So I've always read and used the methods of rubbing your hands together and studying all the details of your environment. I usually end up crouching down low so that I see a small perspective of my dream like a good 3 feet section of the ground. In my most recent lucid dream a week ago it was a WBTB but with no lucid reading in between I just took a nap on my parents bed (i've had 3x more lucid dreams there than I have anywhere else) and proceeded to have 2-3 moments of lucidity after waking back up and passing out 5 seconds later the first one being the longest and then shortening.
In the first one I looked down at the ground and rubbed my hands together, did all of that, but the environment still seemed grainy and not as clear as it could have be. Like if you can imagine my dream (this is in computer terms here) being full and clear would display lets say 10 million pixels. After looking at the detail and rubbing my hands together I'm only seeing about 6 million of these pixels, its not as detailed as it could be. I proceeded to fly having not gained the stability I wanted which of course made me lose my lucidity and wake up about 6 seconds later.
So what other methods can I use? Or is there some way to use the rubbing hands and studying the environment methods better? Maybe I was doing it too fast or wasn't believing it as much as I should have...
