      "Saveing" Dreams

Would it be possible to "save" a lucid dream, the way you would save a video game or mark a page in a book, then wake up, go about your day, and later be able to go to sleep again and go right back, to where you left off before?

Yeah, if you are able to incubate that dream, you can go ahead and continue it. Of course, that would require a WILD technique where you choose your dream scenario (such as a VILD). If you want to do it off a DILD, you could probably just use a door or similar to get back to that dream.

I want to master that badly. I've been working my way there, slowly. I could fly to where I was last (takes a lot of dream time), then I super-ran (takes less time) and now I'm working on the method Arby mentioned: doors. My starting place is most always my room.

I've heard that some people have used videogames in this method. They turn on a console, click 'load' and jump into the TV. Some even make their own holographic game menu instead!

Doors eh. Interesting. I'd never even though of that.

I like the video game Idea, I notice that whenever I dream about playing a video game I'm actually in the video game.

Is it more difficult to return to a certain place and time then it is to return to a certain event?

They should be about the same difficulty. One is the concept and one is the physical manifestation. I would personally go with the concept, but you should pick whichever one you are most comfortable with.

One note about making it easier to get back there... try to bring the dream back as a day dream at least twice during the day. Once under an hour after you have woken up and sometime else in the day. This is to make sure that you actually remember what the hell you were doing once you get back to bed... XD

When in the dream, no matter what method, bring back the dream as if it were a daydream when you are going through the door/loading the cartridge to help you get back into it.

i just thought of an interesting travelling method, never tried this before, but it could be interesting to try.

how about taking off/putting on a shirt/sweater and knowing that once you complete the task you can get down to business (i.e. continue where you left off last time).

Yep, under the precepts of Placebo, that would work fine. I have a tut on the subject located in my sig if you wish to take a peek.

PS- make sure the sweater is pink =P
