      Constantly running

Yesterday I had another LD, but again i was constantly moving, running actually.
I basically ran utterly fast along the road, summoned myself a bike and went flying, freefalled, jumped(or flew) up again and freefalled. It was all fun, but it seems that every time i go lucid i can't just stop and start thinking about what to do next.

PS. One thing that i also noticed is that both times i didn't do RC, i just figured out that i was dreaming. Maybe that's my problem.

      And excuse my English.

Shouldn't be a problem I think since this is basically what you do, also when you do RC's. How many LD's have you had? If not a lot I would sugest it's about practise maby, why you can't stop is because you think you can'ät stop, am I right? If so, free your mind. But seriosly, what I do nowdays as I've learned with practise(this is what works best for me at least) is to just say to yourself when something like this happens: No! Enough! I won't have this! When you do this just relax, still think about that you're lucid so that you don't wake up or fakewake but still as you do this; don't care wether you're lucid or not.

      kampsun, I agree with gratismat.

It may be that you're afraid that if you slow down or stop moving, you'll wake up thus ending your dream.

I recommend getting used to what being lucid FEELS like by grounding yourself in your dreams.

I know when I first become lucid, I have to fight that initial rush of adrenalin. I do this by telling myself to calm down, breathing naturally (or a little slower) and I try to "ground" myself in the dream (i.e., make it as lucid as it can be) instead of immediately racing to do something before I lose lucidity.

One of the tricks I use to "ground" myself is to "touch" things. By touching.. I mean really "feeling" them. Get into how they feel.. are they hot, cold, smooth, rough, etc. (this also increases the vividness of the dream along with helping me remain in it longer).

You may also try to increase your vividness by confidently stating aloud "increase lucidity" or "clarity now".

You might also try repeating calmly to yourself outloud every so often, "I am dreaming" just to remind yourself of your dreaming state.

Just remember that "the deeper the level of lucidity.. the better your lucid experience should be"

Thanks you both. Had another lucid tonight and it started again with running. Then i just said to myself that i should stop, it worked. After that i touched and felt the wall near me, and of i was, exploring the dream world

I don't know about others. However, when I'm aware of my existence in my dreams, I'm always doing something, e.g. fighting, flying, running, speaking. On the contrary, when I become lucid, everything 'stops'. There is a sense of stillness, and I only act when I wish to. It's difficult to describe.

Also, why not plan out what you are going to do in a lucid dream? When I have no purpose or direction planned in my dream, I tend to spend the entire dream flying. That's why I always try and set a goal.

Yeah, what Abra said. And you should focus on a single goal, perhaps write down on a slip of paper what you would like to do that lucid dream,(find someone, ask your subconscious a question, whatever) and stick to thinking ONLY about that goal, looking at this sheet of paper and reminding yourself throughout the day. You can become confused if you think about wanting to do too many things, and as your dream self is relatively stupid, just concentrating on a single goal will be enough.
