      Starting dreams in the same place?

      I had an LD last night and it had a location that I am gonna try and get to in every dream from now on. It is a medium sized room and I call it my headquarters. Any tips on training myself to start dreams in this place?

      Through WILD, you can perhaps direct the dream-precursing hypnogogia. To do this, just think about HQ during your WILD.

      If DILD-type dreams are your thing, try using somewhere you usually find yourself to get to HQ. If you often start the dream by recognizing a false awakening, your bedroom closet door could be the entrance to HQ. If you often start the dream at the office, perhaps there is a secret bookshelf that leads you to HQ. In DILD, it is the strength and capacity to believe in imagination that will get you where you want. Meditating that you are at HQ would help a great deal, too.

      I don't know about starting dreams in the right place, i think that can only be done if you WILD. but if you are near a door just walk through that door into te place you want to be, that's easy to do, and theres always doors around.

      You could do that using VILD, which is a type of WILD, and would let you start off in a specific room. Search for VILD for the technique.

      If you do a pure WILD, you will always end up in your bed. Seems as good a place as any.
