Check out this. It is the definitive guide on dream control. It is a bit long, but well worth the read. Good stuff for newbs and advanced LDers alike. |

I was hoping to see a stickied guide in this forum, but there is not one sticky here, so how does it work? I have never been able to do it before. |

I'll tell you this much: controling your dreams ultimately comes down to your confidence: how well do you know your dreaming. If you are reluctant to hurl yourself out the window (which by the way you should be unless you know and I mean you god**** know ur dreaming) then you won't be able to fly and the general rule applies to everything. You have to know u can do it and then u can just imagine anything and it will happen. |

What have you tried so far? And what happened? Whatever the case, remember to take it slow. Don't plan on doing a hundred things in one dream. Set small goals for yourself. If you want to fly, for instance, your first goal might be to float. You'd think about how you are going to float in your dream ("I could jump in the air. If that doesn't work, I could swim in the air. If that doesn't work, I could jump on a magic carpet. Etc."). Try not to change your goal until you get it right. |
