Thread: Need help teleporting

All you do is close your eyes for about two seconds and imagine what you'll see when you open them. Keep yourself in the dream while doing that because people (not me) wake up but it's their fault.

I summon a portal when I want to teleport I just step through it like a door!

Why don't you just close your eyes and think of the place you would like to be? You will then travel in the speed of thought and find yourself wherever you wish to be when you open your eyes.

I am not a very good LDer but teleporting is one of my abilities in LDing..

Sometimes it never works but you can try....

I've been trying to LD for a while but keep oversleep and not doing my offset sleep cycle and missing it.

I should cast a spell to a portal rift where I want to go.

I haven't tried this yet, but have you player Super Mario 64? Envision that castle, and make the canvas where you want to go. Believe it is going to work, and jump in!

oh shit.

I was going to ask how to teleport to an 'existing' place in your dream. But my lucid skills aren't flash enough yet to pick up from where a dream left off. So I suppose it would be better to ask what is the best way to teleport anywhere else (more interesting) that leaves you lucid?
Last night I closed my eyes and said something like 'take me to the stables', on the second try it worked, but I woke up in a stables instead, and a new non-lucid dream scenario played out from there.

Here's my fool-proof method. I have yet to have it screw up.
Take a pen out of your pocket. Draw the outline of a door. It should now be a door. Open the door. Step through the door to your destination. Works every time. If you're not experienced enough to draw stuff into existence, then find a door anywhere in your dream. Another option is to step into a closet or other enclosed space, shut the door to said space, and then exit it again into wherever you're trying to go. Elevators also work in the same way. Essentially, anything you would use to transition between two spaces in real life will also work when you're dreaming.
