Finally Flew, and the method I used.

So, after a few months of practice, I finally flew in a dream. What I did is I picked up a rock, and stared at it. I then jumped while spinning, and did a corkscrew up into the air, whilst still focusing on the rock. When I got high enough and comfortable, I dropped the rock, and flew! (I didn't go very high though, just thought I'd throw that out there.)

This method pretty much keeps your mind off the possibility of falling down, because you are focusing on a rock, or apple, or whatever. I'm still kinda new at lucid dreaming, but this method WORKS.

I was going to rip on your method for being silly, what with the rocks and jumping and the spinning, but the theory behind it is quite sound. Nice work!

That distraction/focus stuff will serve you well in your lucid dreaming.
