      I dont understand :/

how to apply dream control in ACTUAL dreams. I cant phase through anything no matter how much i tell myself it doesnt exist. i tried the finger through your other hand RC. just to see if i could make it work, and i couldnt.I spent 5 chain lucid dreams, last night, trying to find my Dream guide. I kept drawing doors, opening them, and thinking my dream guide will be behind this one. and got caught up searching inside each place. and eventually, it was like my hand wouldnt draw magic doors anymore. whats the point of becoming lucid then, if i cant even control my dreams!? D: god, this sucks. i had no idea it'd be this complicated! it took enough effort to just get lucid Any suggestions on an easier way to finding my dream guide? i WOULD try summoning him/her if i wasnt sure that would fail too -__-

Umm you do realise that you can't cotroll non lucid dreams. Some times you will have a non lucid with controll but you are not fully in controll. If you are consciously trying to phase through walls idk how you are not lucid.

This happens to me too. I lack the "belief" needed for the open a door, or go around a corner to find a person or object types of passive dream control. Hope you find a way to summon your DG.

First off, try not to get stressed out. If you're going to bed frustrated, you're likely going to kill your recall and end up taking a step back. Relax, realize you have many more to come and try to enjoy the dreams you are having

As far as being unable to control your dreams, you're not alone in that. For some reason certain things come more naturally to certain people. For example, some find it easy to fly and difficult to summon things/people, while someone else will have exactly the opposite problem. One thing I might suggest is to try and come up with a new "method" of accomplishing your goal and try that. It doesn't matter how silly or strange it seems, just try it. You might be surprised to find that the first idea that comes in your head might be the one that pushes you in the right direction.

As far as summoning a DG, have you tried letting him/her/it come to you? It seems like you're spending all of this time playing hide and seek, where it might help if you just ask them to show up. Don't give up. It may just take longer for you to accomplish this goal. If you get too frustrated, try doing something else for a bit and then come back to that goal. Again, you have lots of dreams ahead of you. Enjoy them!

You used the word "actual" dreams which confused me sorry. In my experience it just takes 0% doubt of failure to do things in dreams.
