      watching myself inside my body

Last night I had a dream where I was laying in my bed waiting to fall asleep, so you could say I was dreaming about going to fall asleep. I felt my eyes getting heavy so they started to shut, but then, somehow it felt like i was inside my head watching my eyes close, just like you would see something shut infront of you, like a garage door.

I soon woke up, shit scared me.

were you half asleep? this sounds possibly like a sleep paralysis experience. I once had a hypnogogic (going to sleep) experience in which I saw my own heart beating, it was strange and a little frightening. just that you found it scary, and the particular imagery, suggests to me that you were either in the process of falling asleep or waking up (the latter is called 'hypnopompic imagery').

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
