uncomfortable "everyone knows my secrets" dream

Well in my dream I was in a labyrinth like version of my school "closer walls and such" It is hard to describe it was odd but I am sure it's my school. but I walked into a classroom with all my classmates sitting in a kindergarten room setup *very small tables and chairs* and there were large folders with basically our lives in them everything that happened to us *I guess only mine was there* but I opened it up and the word rape was bolded. . . So any Ideas on why rape is bolded and such besides the possibility I did get *raped/sexually abuse*. wow real 0.0 moment there but really people what do you think of this.

I'm not one big into reading into dreams (ie water signifies emotion, etc.) but this one seems too significant to be ignored. You said that in this dream "everyone knows your secrets," and in this folder of your life (maybe your life secrets?) you found this. Are you keeping the fact that you were raped a secret? You really need to talk about this with someone, seek counsel. We all give ourselves a false illusion that we can take care of ourselves, but humans were made to care and be cared for. People care about your problems. Or if you haven't been keeping it to yourself, then maybe you're characterizing yourself by it. As a victim of sexual abuse, you are not characterized by it. If there was a folder of your life I'm sure it would not revolved around the abuse. Hope you resolve your issues!

Sex in dreams symbolizes the merging of two personality traits into a life experience. Rape is just something you are thinking that you can't control. For example if an evil person raped you in a dream it would symbolize some negative thought is forcing you to make choices that make you create unpleasant life experiences. well both answers were very helpful and both somehow "right" but at the same time I can't consider what happened rape I can't explain it especially to strangers. whatever i am fine and over it just i have to learn to stop dwelling on past events thats all i do I always look basic on all the stupid things i did peoples reactions wondering if they remember them and everything else its just insane and somehow self defeating I could say I am trying to forget my past but really I am not sure I guess I am just to self-inflicting . If that even is a word or makes sense
