For some reason, as long as I can remember it's always been dark in my dreams, like the middle of the night kind of dark most of the time, is there a reason for this? |

Light and darkness in dreams do carry a very specific meaning. Light represents intelligence, knowledge, information. While light has also been seen as conveying certain emotions such as optimism, joy etc., one learns a lot more from their dreams using the former meaning. When a person is said to be "in the light", they are understood as being "in the know". |
